Potatoe and leek soup is by far one of the best i have ever had. The staff are extremely friendly, however they lack service. We waited for our waiter for a LONG time, and he never once checked to see if we needed anything. Other than that the food is good, desserts are even better. The food is worth the awful service. We always over tip, not this time. We still give 20%, however if the service was there, they would have got over 45% tip. Management needs to really have a meeting and tell the staff to check on their table MUCH more often. That's all

So I wasn't paying attention to where we were and how close to major tourist attractions we were when we decided to randomly get a bite to eat--stupid on my part I'm admit. The space is pretty but everything else is kinda lackluster including service. We got burgers, my side salad was just greens with a pretty tasteless vinaigrette $20+, $18+ cocktails, subpar beers in cans and I don't know how this is possible but an under seasoned absolutely hammered burger. It wasn't inedible but 2 basic greasy burgers and two cans of terrible and cheap beer shouldn't cost $70. Was trying a new to me place vs standbys of Khyber, monks etc
Wouldn't recommend and won't be back again

My friends and I visited the Morris for Sunday morning brunch and had the pleasure of having Clarence as our server. He was wonderful! The food and outdoor space are 10/10!!

We dined here for Restaurant Week 2024 and the experience was incredible. Our server was Clarence and he did such a good job and has the best personality. The food presentation and portion size were both amazing. I would highly recommend saving room for dessert and give the Lemon Posset a try. So delicious!

My first time at the Morris and it happened to be the first day of Philly restaurant week. My entire dining experience was spectacular. I loved how each course balanced so nicely together, and the cocktails were so smoothly crafted. My favorite thing about the “restaurant week” menu was the inclusion of the “palate cleaner” drinks (not that the food wasn’t amazing, but this was such a unique addition and the drinks were truly so fresh and nice). Erin was my server and made wonderful suggestions. She steered my dining experience in a way that was perfect for me and what I was looking for. She was so friendly and such a gem to this awesome place. I’ll definitely be back.

Erin was an amazing server - food was INCREDIBLE and our dinner was such great value for the money. Everything is made from scratch and you can clearly taste that in the quality of the food. If you have a chance to check out the Morris, I highly recommend it!

Amazing experience and food! I definitely recommend going!
Not only was the food and drink absolutely stellar, but the entire staff was exceptional from our Hostess Becca, the each and every server, the management was attentive and friendly, but without a doubt the shining star was our personal server Jon, he went above and beyond and with the added pressure of restaurant week he remained poised and professional. If I could give more stars I would. A must if you’re in the area

Excellent meal at this newish restaurant adjacent to the Morris Hotel. When we made the reservation, we saw a restaurant week menu, but it wasn’t until the restaurant called us to confirm we were coming and that we knew it was only restaurant week ONLY menu that we said sure that would be fine. Well… This meal was stellar from start to finish. As there amuse Bouche, they had a pallet cleanser, which could be alcoholic or non-alcoholic we chose the alcoholic, which was a Porto Blanco plus Ancho Reyes With banana syrup and cucumber. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing that was and yes, it was a palate cleanser.
We both started with the gazpacho soup -excellent and it had a great twist using the smoked almonds as well as the fennel. For our second, we got two different salads one with duck prosciutto, and fresh figs… I am a fresh fig freak that …means don’t tell me you’re putting in figs if they’re not fresh -and these were amazing. The other salad had asparagus with spinach and hard boiled egg on it just excellent. For our mains, I got the salmon and they cooked it medium rare as I requested, and it was excellent, sitting on a bed of greens around the outside surrounded by a pitted fava bean and some delicately cooked carrots. My partner got the pork chop and it was cooked to perfection as well as being accompanied by this amazing coleslaw that balanced it perfectly. For desserts, he got the chocolate bourbon cake, and I got, the lemon prosset What. It was essentially like a lemon crème brûlée but it was excellent. Our server Erin could not have been more amazing helpful and attentive. For decor I think the outside is definitely much cooler than the inside… The bar area is a little bit more forward in terms of decor, but the back area the restaurant is just so so don’t let that you definitely give this place a try
Kid-friendliness: There were kids outside but the menu we saw wasn’t for them. Also they let dogs on the patio
