Came this spring with a group of about 20 to dine before seeing a play. The restaurant prepared for our group and did a nice job. We all loved the vegan offerings and the spacious, outdoor seating.
I have been coming to them for years. And the last time I was there.I see that they have expanded their building for outside seating. The prices are very reasonable and the food is awesome. I didn't care too much for the macaroni however.
This is my go to vegan soul food spot in Philly. I gave 4 stars cuz I find the food is better when they aren’t busy or it isn’t late. I have eaten from here many times. I normally get the jerk chickpeas, okra and cabbage, but this time I got the bbq chicken, sweet potatoes and cabbage. It was tasty. The bbq sauce wasn’t too sweet or tangy which was good. I also got this white bean soup that was DELICIOUS! It was my first time having it and the owner said it was a crowd favorite...
