excellent food and staff are great. Also restrooms are always clean.
A Great Neighborhood Hangout on Frankford Ave
The Nut Hut Saloon is exactly the kind of spot every neighborhood needs — laid-back, friendly, and full of character. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. The crowd was an eclectic mix, which made it easy to either blend in or strike up a conversation.
The menu is affordable and surprisingly solid. Comfort food done right.
Definitely planning to come back for an Eagles game — I can already tell it’ll be a great game-day atmosphere. (Go Birds! 🦅)
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good-time bar with solid food and a true neighborhood feel.

Was there today the bartender with the dreadlocks? Was very rude and took forever to get to our table and had told me that I would have to come to the bar in order to order a drink,

What a gem! We were there on a Saturday night for karaoke with a big group and the staff could not have been more lovely. The atmosphere is great, perfect dive, great service, good drinks.

Bouncer told us to leave the bar, while other people sat there and waited for their Uber inside, but we got told to leave in 30 degree weather and stand outside.
I love the philly motif. Good bartender. Good vibe. It's a big boy's cheesesteak. Big soft bready roll which I am not a fan of. Very good amount of finely chopped meat. The meat was easy to eat. It had a good amount and a good melt of cheese. A slice or two more would be nice. The onions got lost in everything. Good big cheesesteak. A tweak or two and it is a top tier cheesesteak.

Karaoke Friday nights are great. Minus the one girl who thinks she’s getting a record deal from there. Environment is chill and laid back. Bartenders are quick and good. It does get packed. Never any issues.

Ive been here at least 4 or 5 times and every time I've put food in they've forgotten about the order and offer nothing to make up for it. Way too expensive outside of eagles games.

This is a nice local dive bar that is great for watching games and coming in for a drink and quick snack. They proudly rep Philly sports. We came here for dinner and a drink on a Saturday night. There are plenty of TVs around and the atmosphere is definitely a fun spot to hang out with friends for sports games. The staff was pretty friendly. We ordered the wings, mac & cheese, and caesar salad. Each food item had its own unique flavor but the wings were surprisingly the best, very meaty and tasty. Would definitely come back for a drink and snack.
