Although the food is good, I did not have the best experience. I picked up my order and walked home, and about 10 minutes later they called and asked me to come back because they gave me the wrong order. I was a little annoyed, but whatever, life happens and I didn't live too far so it wasn't nearly as inconvenient as it could have been. I got my new order and went home to eat, which is when I found a staple in my food. It's a shame because the food was really good, but having to be cautious of nearly swallowing another staple the whole time I was eating put a damper on the experience.

This place is very expensive for the amount of food and quality you get. You get a single roti or paratha for $3.50, which is insane when you consider roti takes only flour and water to make. The curries tasted good, but were very, very oily and almost $20.00 for each one. The worst part is next day our insides felt horrible. The non-veg appetizer had different types of meats, which were all over cooked and tough to chew. I grew up eating Indian food, can tolerate heavy masala, and this place really did Indian food a a disservice. I do not recommend eating here.

Truly one of the best Indian restaurants in Philly! Highly recommend their lamb samosas, chicken korma, butter chicken and their naan!

We’re craving Indian food and this place was delicious. Good portion of food, and very flavorful. The two guys at the counter were very nice as well. Nothing bad to say about this place. The food can get spicy if you order even moderate but I love spice, part of why we order Indian food! Delicious place and we have leftovers.
Worst food And bad service Bad energy I was waiting for my order more than half an hour so what makes it worst is the unprofessional staff in there they don't give a damn shit about anything ..

We visited Philadelphia for the day and enjoyed lovely lunch at this halal restaurant. It was very quiet around lunch time. Food took a while to come out as it was being freshly prepared and it was worth the wait. We ordered tarka dal with rice and chicken tikka both very tasty. The pakoras were good too. The masala chai was good as well. Thanks for great food.
We tried 3 other restaurants to find an Indian restaurant that looked busy and inviting. Great food. We had chicken Tikka masala, Chicken Tikka and Chicken Korma. 2 delicious appetizers. The chili chicken was fantastic. We will come back! BYOB which we didn’t realize but there are a couple of wine shops on the same street.

The food was scrumptious and the portions were enermous. I enjoyed every bite. The naan were special. Well seasoned and soft. The curry fish was well seasoned and not too hot. The samosas had a unique taste. I love it all!!!!

I didn't want to post a negative review since of all the Indian restaurants I've known, the food here seems to be among the tastiest. But there are two 'but's and they are not minor: a) People need to be warned that if they select spice level "medium" they are still likely to end up with what elsewhere would fall under "brutally hot;" b) It is quite difficult to deal with a restaurant where the person who answers the phone and gets you your order barely speaks and understands English. You want to find out how late they take online orders? He doesn't understand. You want to know the difference between two similarly named dishes? After asking the question three times he tells you, "yes, different." You want to ask for something extra? Forget it.

This is not a typical Indian restaurant (either north or South Indian), even though the name and the menu is Indian. Do not expect to get authentic north Indian or south Indian food here. For example, the Dal was not even close to what you see in an Indian restaurant. The paneer masala was a mix of paneer pieces in a watery red sauce. Naan was good. Goat curry was average.
