Ive loved Thomasena’s ever since they were in that plaza on Adams & Rising Sun. Then they moved to Orthodox St. I still went. Then they upped and closed in 2021 for some reason. I wish they open again or share their relocation. I loved their food. The basa, green beans, and mac and cheese was my go to platter.

(Now closed) I just demolished my cabbage, fish, sweet potatoes platter. The platter was super tasty! A big special shout out to whoever made the cabbage awesome!

The food here is Delicious. It's the best soul food spot that I've been to in Philly. It might be a little wait depending on what time you go but it’s definitely worth waiting for.
Y'all need to stop playing and open back up man.

The food was good but... I didn't get there until 6:30 on a Sunday so a lot of the food was sold out not a whole lot to choose from at that time they close at 8pm and it was busy.
