This is such a gem in East Falls! Friendly staff, lovely seating area (I've been going here since before they got the second room with the couch and blue walls!), always good quality espresso/coffee, really tasty snacks. Glad to have them as one of the neighborhood staples!

The coffee always hits the spot and the service is fantastic. Definitely check it out if you’re the area. Solid cold brew!

Solid iced latte on a summer day. Good atmosphere. A new personal favorite spot for me.

Very cute cafe! Nice place to do work while having a latte and beignet. Great service, wifi and plenty of seating.

This is a cute little cafe. I had a chai latte and I enjoyed it very much. The place is on the smaller side but there’s plenty of places to chill if you want to loiter for a bit or take a nap. I like the location quite a bit and the staff was really friendly. I’d stop in here again just because I really like the logo.

This is for the new location in Tacony. I have tried them out on two separate occasions. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere is really cozy and cute featuring art from local artist, which I love. They are also 🏳️‍🌈 friendly…BUT the coffee and pastries 😩. Both times I went I ordered iced coffees and both times they tasted like brown sugar water. I ordered a croissant and donut the first time I visited, it was shortly after they opened up for the day, the croissant tasted stale and dry, the donut was slightly better but still stale. The last time I tried a donut and it was stale again and the vanilla custard instead had hints of nutmeg, but was very bland and tasteless. It sucks to leave this review because I was so excited for them to open, but the quality of the food definitely does not match the price.

For reference coffee’s I enjoy :La Colombe, Starbucks, Peet’s. Sometimes a cup of Dunkin’. I like coffee that tastes like coffee.

Stopped in for a quick latte, and bite to eat. As I waited to order, I didn’t realize the additional seating for the WFH folks. Good to know.

Service was fast and pleasant!

Every employee except the male owner has been friendly.
That guy on the other hand has issues and shouldn’t be interacting with customers the way he does.

Hands down one of East Falls best establishments serving a proper cappuccino, offering a nice array of both sweet and savory menu items and the most genuinely friendly staff. I've had a consistently superb experience here since I moved to Philly 5 months ago.

I had a great time studying here with a friend!! It’s super close to the Jefferson campus which is convenient, and they have plenty of seating. They were out of a few things and don’t have many food options. But the atmosphere is really nice!

Outstanding across the board. Thunder Mug knows it all starts with the quality of the coffee. Add to that the quality pastries, cheerful, friendly service, the chilled out space for work or conversation, and the public printer available, and it's hard to find a better cafe in Philly. Highly recommend!

I was only here for coffee and tea this morning, but I really enjoyed the space, was served by an absolute sweetheart of a barista, and appreciated the courtesy of my fellow Cafe goers. A lot of folks were working in the cafe, including taking calls and meetings, but it felt like a open workspace where people were respectful rather than it being particularly silent or overly loud as a place to do work.
