Stopped into Thunder Mug Cafe for a pick me up yesterday. I understand why it was named Philly's favorite coffee house. Apparently everyone else heard the news, too. The place was packed! The service was friendly and efficient and my iced SF caramel coffee and beignet were delish! Google review coming!

Creative, cozy, delicious. Yesterday I had the Thai PB&J, and if it’s available when you go, I highly recommend it. It wasn’t my first time in here. I’ve enjoyed the wonderful, cozy, 90s-coffee-shop-in-a-romcom vibe on several occasions. The service is friendly and relaxed. The coffee is delicious. But it was that sandwich yesterday that made me finally sit down and write this 5-star review. This place is a gem!

Great cafe and wonderful staff -- I haven't been here before and asked for a drink recommendation, the barista created a drink based on flavors that I typically enjoy and it was really good! He made sure that I liked the drink as well. Great seating for studying or catching up with friends. I can see their community outreach efforts through the events they host regularly through game nights or cupcake decorating. Parking can be difficult around the area depending on the time of day. Would recommend!

I used to live in center city, and I honestly did not like the taste of most coffee, but this place is a breath of fresh air. Their drinks are extraordinary, they have a great selection of food, and their staff is very friendly and welcoming. Also something I'm not used to in the city: enough comfortable seating and outlets to work from! Could not reccommend this place enough!

This place was one of the first spots i explored when i moved to the neighborhood. I absolutely love the danish and lattes. The everything bagels are my go to on the way to work or a WFH day at the cafe. Aaron (i apologize if i spelled it wrong) has the best attitude and a warm welcome every-time . I look forward to coming here every week☕️

The food & drinks were good. I may have to try something else that makes me say I loved it. It was cold & rainy outside, so coming into the seating area and the air conditioner blowing right at the tables was distracting. The art on the walls is awesome, as is the vintage seating. The service was impeccable. I think the prices may be contributing to my liking and not loving this café.

I've been here quite often over the years. I love everything about this place. The food, coffee and teas are excellent. I had a lox sandwich that was filled with deliciousness. Fresh lox herbs and a bagel. Delicious and filling. The service is excellent even when you have trouble making up your mind. Perfection in a cup, is how describe their teas and coffees. The decor is late 60s hipster. The prices are on point for the location.

What more can I say? Love Lizette and Aaron. My chai latte was delicious. I did not have to add a thing. Love the foam surprise.I had my first Za'atar Croissant today. It melted in my mouth and was just enough. The atmosphere is both soothing and energizing. My favorite spot is the yellow couch. That's where creativity happens.

Great little spot perfect for before a Saturday farmers market. They do have food options which is a plus being that most do not and they also support local bakeries by selling those in the shop as well. Good variety of coffee, nice workers. Only downside is the immediate space isn't big so don't be deceived if it looks to crowded. Give them a try!!
