Great food
The location is pretty basic but clean and comfortable. The ladies are very sweet and kind. My food has always been good, except the one time I ordered it on doordash. Otherwise, I get the lamb, plantains, and Jollof rice. Also, the potatoe greens are good. Wish they had a seafood one, but they make do.

Previously called nafisa kitchen . But I swear since the name changed to thunka kitchen the food has gotten 10xs better.

I thought this was Nafisa’s Kitchen. I was confused when I arrived. I ordered potato greens. I was highly disappointed. It was spinach. They only had chicken in it with no turkey. Even the rice was bad. I live an hour away. A complete waste of money and time . Honestly do not waste your money . It’s terrible.

This was my first time eating West African Cuisine and I loved this family owned restaurant! The owner is extremely friendly and is more than happy to explain her dishes. I loved the potato greens, fufu, wings and the fried fish platters. Get their ginger drink to wash all this tasty food down!

I ordered potatoe green and got some type of spinach instead, we live an hour away and we were so upset because we used to come here all the time when they were previously “Nafisa’s Kitchen”. The spinach wasn’t even good, very disappointed ☹️
I still think about the fried snapper, its so good! Call ahead to save time.
