First time at Tinto. For being a place that is a wine shop too, I was surprised there are no wine flights. I love paella, so we ordered the seafood paella, it was ok, not tasty. The only reason I would go back to Tinto would be the wine.

I only came here because I had a Garces gift card to use up, but I came away thinking that this might be my favorite restaurant in Philly. I've been here five years, going on six now, and I'm really sad I didn't find this happy hour spot earlier. To preface, I love Spanish tapas, so it's only natural I would love this restaurant. We came for the late night happy hour. We ordered everything on the happy hour menu. Every single item was a hit, although the grilled mushroom + guindilla was probably the worst item out of the six (although it wasn't bad, just think the pepper wasn't really to my taste). The montadito with tuna and montadito with eggplant were absolutely amazing. The shrimp was probably one of the best shrimps I've had, and the chicken was also extremely juicy. The serrano y queso was also quite excellent. We ordered sangria to top it off, which was good but nothing super special. We will definitely be coming back for the tapas again. So, so good.

I absolutely love this place. Where do I begin? The food and drinks were fantastic. They have an extensive wine collection. You can purchase there wines as well. The ambiance was wonderful as well. You have to sit next the kitchen. A most go to!!!!

Love how they down sized their space coming out of the pandemic. Such an intimate vibe and I think the food quality has improved because of it. We ordered 4 snacks/small plates and the paella. ::chefs kiss::!! The drinks were top notch as well. We'll be back!

Service and food were both good. Menu got downsized maybe due to Covid, some of my all-time favorite items were not available. Hope the pandemic gets away soon and full menu resumes. Will def revisit when that happens.

This was a very nice meal in a very intimate space. The food was delicious and would highly recommend the seafood paella with my favorite part being the squid ink rice.

My boyfriend and I were in the mood for some Spanish food and came across Tinto. We ordered several tapas and the seafood paella and it was all incredible. We even ended up ordering the octopus tapa again! The beer, cocktails, and sangria perfectly complimented the food and we ended the night with ganache filled donuts in a blood orange sauce. Definitely recommend this place for a date night! And it's in a great location we were able to hop around at a few different bars afterwards too.

Our server was a bit dismissive because we didn't know about their ordering style and then let us know that our table was reserved for another seating so we should order soon. The food was good, not great. Limited bar options. Great wine selection. There MANY other places I would recommend in Phila.

The food is still amazing, but I'm disappointed to see what I thought was a beautiful, romantic setting for a meal has turned quite sloppy. The space felt uncared for and cold and by no means what I remembered to be a really special dining experience.

Nice ambiance but disappointing service - last night, the waiter treated me very disrespectfully, saying very loudly and disrespectfully in front of my Wharton colleagues that he won't serve me because I did not have a physical copy of my passport (presented a valid form of foreign ID with visible birth dates as well as digital copy of passport). When I forgot to wear a mask as I stood up from the table, he again announced loudly in front of other guests that I needed to wear a mask whenever not seated. These are reasonable policies that I was 100% willing to I abide with, but did not expect to be spoken to in that tone, and "lectured" in a rude manner in front of my colleagues and other guests during my first visit.I frequent many wine bars and restaurants in Philly and am yet to experience terrible treatment of this level.

Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Small plates were great, wine was pretty good, paella was average. Having the glass wall so you can see the kitchen is cool. Great date spot.

We wanted to try something different and decided on Tinto for a Saturday night. The restaurant is pretty small and looked a bit empty, but we had a relatively early reservation, and it did start to fill up when we left. Staff had a very family-feel, and server was very friendly and helpful. We liked the paella, the salad, and the sardines, but the octopus was a bit tough. They have a pretty nice wine selection for a small place, and the desserts were pretty tasty.

Some of the best red Sangria I've ever had. Bartenders made some nice recommendations for tapas. Duck octopus n lamb. I could have those three everyday. The sauces on each plate were delicious. Everything grilled perfectly and $9 a shot was priced nicely for the quality you received. Take a seat at the bar and slow play that hour of righteousness. Then go next door and grab 5 whiskeys.

This has become one of my favorite resturants in Philly. Excellent tapas, paellas and sangria. I tend to bring family and friends here when in town and celebrated my girlfriends birthday here.
