TL,DR; A tasty chicken sandwich, big portions of fries, but too small to be filling. We'll come back to try the chicken fingers or the wings next time.
My wife and I had been wanting to try this place for a while because we heard they were a new up-and-coming chicken joint bringing Asian style fried chicken to the states. (Being a former resident of South Korea for several years, I can say first hand that Asian fried chicken is among the best in the world.)
The restaurant itself was very well-kept with a clean kitchen and floor. There were only two employees, but they did a good job keeping up with orders, even during a rush.
The chicken sandwiches were just like you would want them to be--crunchy outside, juicy inside, all the right fixins. The reason why we can't rate this experience any higher is that the sandwiches were quite small and barely enough to be considered a meal. I should also mention here that the coleslaw didn't add anything at all due to it being under seasoned.
The fries were a bright spot: hot and fresh curly fries like the ones you get at Arby's. I especially appreciated the variety of dipping sauces available at the counter, including sweet chili, honey mustard, barbecue, ranch, buffalo, and mango habanero. The meal also comes with a free can of tea or you can upgrade for either $2 or $3 for a bubble tea.
We both agreed that the meal was tasty and would be acceptable as a lunch portion but pretty small for dinner. We want to come back and try the chicken tenders and/or the wings next time.

Taiwanese fried chicken brand! Definitely try the ranch, it’s got a garlic taste that’s addictive! Sweet potato fries are also delicious.

The food is not the problem, but why would i go to a place where blacks aren’t welcomed?

I didn’t know being BLACK would lead to being discriminated against in 2024. If you happen to be black, be prepared to be overcharged and waiting 40 min for your food while everyone else gets served before you even tho you ordered first.
The food is ok… but would you rather have the food or human decency? If you’re black you just might get human saliva in your chicken sandwich! Absolutely disgusting I waited for my order forever and people who came in after me got theirs really fast! Food came out cold! I didn’t see saliva but whatever they done to my food idk why it took that long I don’t know it was a simple chicken sandwich and other people got the same thing that came before me. If something like that happens to you get your money back, maybe they will learn their lesson that way.

This place used to offer chicken thighs, choices of white meat or dark meat, and Kwa Kwa Bao. Now they only sell wings that are very small, the prices have increased, the seasoning on the chicken is different, and they no longer offer kwa kwa bao. While the location is the same, its like someone removed everything about this place that made it special. My wife and I used to come to this place a lot, but will likely not return since it has lost its distinct Taiwanese offerings. You are better off going to KFC.

I never had this kind of food before and I came because I wanted to try specific items that I saw on their website before coming in. (Cheese curds, cheese fries). They were sold out and I had to get something else. That wasn't the problem I was not familiar with the menu or type of food at all so I asked the cashier for her opinion or if she liked anything there. She was very rude and didn't want to help me she just pointed to the menu. And no it wasn't a language barrier she spoke English and spoke it when I paid. I got a chicken sandwich and fries and milk boba tea. I also got a macaron but it was not good. It's unfortunate because the meal and drink were really good but I won't be coming back here.
Parking: It is a free parking lot. But it's on city avenue which is very busy so good luck if you need to make a left turn out of the parking lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs it is wheelchair accessible, but I'm not sure how comfortable they would be inside it's a bit cramped ( if they want to dine in)
They don’t serve fried chicken anymore. There is also a shortage of sweet potato fries. I feel that I have lost the reason to visit here.
202203Guagua Bao tastes similar to Taiwan. The fried chicken is juicy and the French fries are delicious. The French fries are also curly potato fries and sweet potato fries. They are opened together with Kung Fu Tea.
Flavored chicken itself is good. However, they only sell wings now and the wings is only 2-2.5 inches big, it is not even whole chicken wing. Dont be deceived by the pictures.
Really disappointing fried chicken and crispy chicken sandwich. Despite the 20 minute wait time it felt like they weren't made fresh. The chicken was not at all crispy and we were really disappointed with our meal. Hopefully they get better. The mash potatoes and curly fries were really good. The cashier was really nice.
