Charges high sushi prices without the quality.Don’t get the Sashimi Skewers or Sushi Combos!!Paid $17 for 3 Sashimi Skewers expecting them to be full of meat, instead they were about 2 inches long and had 2 small chunks of sashimi each. They were instead padded with fruits and vegetables. We also got $19 Salmon Combo, which turned out to only have 4 pieces of sushi, 2 sashimi and 1 fried tofu wrapped maki. These two were total rip offs, we got them and were shocked at how little sushi they gave us for the price

Had dinner at Tomo for the first time tonight and it was wonderful. The restaurant itself is cozy and warm. The food was outstanding and the service is top tier. I will recommend them to everyone I know looking for good appetizers, ramen, and sushi. My partner and I are vegan and there are absolutely enough vegan things on the menu.

Amazing, amazing place. It’s a small humble spot with incredible food, particularly their extensive selection of vegan sushi options. I thoroughly enjoyed dinner here and can’t wait to return. I also can’t say enough good things about the service. There was a young man with blonde hair who did his best to make sure me and my friend were comfortably situated, and the waitress with the purple hair was super friendly and took great care of us. Thank you so much for the wonderful food and service!

I have been to Tomo more times than I can count - I’m surprised this is the first time I thought to write a review. The vegan sushi is truly excellent. It’s always quality, consistent, and delicious. I love that Tomo caters to vegans in a way that is not at all an afterthought. Never change, Tomo ?

The food is generally delicious and good value for money, so there are a lot of customers, so if you don't make a reservation in advance, you may have to wait for more than an hour...(Overall, the amount of food is not that generous or large^^)

The food here is truly incredible, but the restaurant service here is appalling. Today was my second time going to Tomo- Valentines Day. I’d called to make a reservation but they said, “we don’t take reservations we are walk-in only”- even though there’s a section on their website that says “reservations”. When I showed up they sat us outside in 30° weather even tho there was a table open inside. When I asked if we could have that table instead they said it was “reserved” for someone. Both times I’ve been here I’ve been unable to get a table inside. I find that pretty unbelievable. Both times the service is so slow, it interferes with the enjoyment of a meal. This restaurant service staff is clearly overwhelmed and the restaurant should either limit tables or hire more staff. As someone who works in the industry, It’s unacceptable to handle more orders than you can handle. It’s an unfair dining experience- it leaves customers unhappy and it affects the servers jobs. The fact that dine-in customers are being neglected for mobile orders, is simply unprofessional. This restaurant needs to understand its limitations or it will risk losing clientele. I’m debating ever going her again since it seems I can never actually enjoy the indoor dining experience. Truly disappointed.Service + 0Food: 9.5/10

Best value for sushi in Philadelphia, as far as I know! Quality seafood is a rare commodity in our time - but you will find it here. The four specialty rolls we had were excellent, as was the Ramen.
