As we arrived we were told that we couldn’t stay to eat, they were closing in 45’.
The service at the desk is not really friendly, they do their job, not more.
We took the food and went back to our hotel and as I opened my fried rice I saw that it was a lot of black “things” in it. These are bits from the bottom of a frying pan!!!! Absolutely everywhere in my meal! The food not bad, but the shrimp are dirty and full of crap. So take your time to pick out what you want to eat. 😒
Excellent food! Loved the shrimp noodle soup. Highly recommend.
They have a robot that brings out the food also, though it doesn't come to tables individually lol.
Would come back for the noodles!
Food good but customer service sucks ! Extremely rude !
This wasn't our first time here at this restaurant, it was however the first time we went and the food wasn't good, and the service was horrible. The servers acted as if they hated their job, no one smiled, they were cold and short. Do better
Top soup dumplings that I've had, sesame chicken highly recommend - tons of flavor without being too heavy of your typical similar dishes. Overall well priced and nicely balanced portions, not a ton heaping but quality
Big fluffly dumplings. Good prices. Easy in and out and you've got your dumplings and good food.
Fast service, nice inside, and they have a cute robot with kitty ears, but food itself was very mediocre. Vegetable dumplings were not good.
Rude restaurant, I said thank you after dining and they gave me a rude look and good was bland
I’ve been going here for about three years now. I always felt like the staff were rude but I’m Black so this doesn’t surprise me much. Despite this place has been my go to. I’m talking I would come like two or three times every three months. They knew me. Yesterday my experience here was awful. The staff were taunting me and my partner, and were just not being accommodating at all. They argued with me over sauces, forced to take my food to go (no one was inside the dining area) this place has good food but prepare for rude, and unprofessional behavior from the staff. I was so upset I just asked for a refund and left. If you’re a person of color I wouldn’t dine here honestly.
Great vegetarian options, clean place, fast service and TASTY food.
Restaurantji Recommends
This place was overpriced and did not have enough dishes on their menu to be considered a DimSum. I did not eat there. We were seated, and after we saw the menu, we left and walked around the corner to another place that had more options for almost half the price.
Bad attitude, bad food, unhygiene
Bad attitude, tipping is a must, should not go
Tom’s Dim Sum is a very pleasant restaurant across from the Hilton Garden Hotel in Philadelphia. It was also very popular. It was bustling with people coming in and out picking up takeout out orders and also the restaurant was quite full with a short, waiting list the evening that we ate there. We especially enjoyed the crab rangoons, which were much more generous in terms of filling than other places where we’ve eaten them. We will definitely go back again and perhaps try some entrées . When I looked around it, but other people were eating everything looked delicious..
Mediocre dumplings. The spicy fried dumplings had a gummy, bread-like wrapping, same texture as a steamed bao bun (and the filling was unexceptional), and the soup dumplings were small and tasteless. Perhaps non-dumpling dishes are better. Efficient service.
