It’s hard to find a café with really good coffee in U-City, but Top Hat is definitely my favorite. Unlike other franchise coffee shops, the latte here is rich and full of flavor. I’ve also tried the Valentine and Berry Bomb waffles, and both were absolutely delicious!

There is already tons of reviews of good foods of this place. My experience is similar. Had a mocha and almond croissant 🥐. However, the reason I put this review is to show that their bathroom is absolutely stunning. This is one of the most clean, decorative bathrooms I have been. Top Hat to the staff and management.

Very friendly staff. I went in to get 2 bags of their own roasted coffee beans.. they also ground them for me. They don’t have the flavor that I wanted to try today, but did offer me a free cup of that particular flavor (Rwanda) for me to test it out — was told it is amazing over ice. Looking forward to the time when I can get a bag and try it at home too. Thanks!

Blown away by the Lonsa Waffle. It was a pretty complex take on a waffle. The waffle itself is sweet, while the spiciness and herbaceous flavorings cut through. The vibe is nice!
I will say, however, the hard part about how the waffle is served is that there is a lot of sauce that I'd like to eat, but the paper is soaking it up. Inevitably, this leads to me scraping my knife against the paper and eating a piece of soaked paper. Maybe change this?

We came here hoping to get their waffles, but left disappointed and upset because they stopped making them early. They told us they stop making them 30 minutes before close and we came 40 minutes before.

Coffee was okay. Waffle was not good. It is one of those prepackaged harder style belgian waffles with sugar crystals. Had the angry waffle, avacado with chorizo does not work well with overly sweet waffles like this.

The waffles are very good. I had the berry bomb, and my mom had the angry waffle. Both delicious. Drinks were okay — not the worst strawberry matcha I’ve had in the city, but not something I’d buy again. Green goddess smoothie was also just good. I will return!
