It was the curb appeal of this adorable trattoria that led me to look into coming here. Then the unsolicited rave review from a stranger at a nearby bar clinched it for me and we decided to try it. Very glad we did because it was a wonderful meal topped off with homemade limoncello and light creamy tiramisu. Will be back for sure.

Once again, we had an amazing meal. If anything, Chef Istrefi has stepped up his game. As always, our waitress Jen was friendly, professional, and helpful with recommendations. She got us a wine chiller for our Prosecco and brought complimentary bread with a white bean spread and olive oil for dipping. For an appetizer, I ordered the special: grilled Caesar salad. Oh my god, this dish! Almost an entire head of romaine grilled with garlicky Caesar dressing and a drizzle of balsamic. Each bite was savory and smoky perfection. For my entree I got my standby, the branzino, grilled with tomatoes, capers, calamata olives and served alongside the most velvety lemon fettuccine. To top it all off, this night they offered us complimentary homemade limoncello after our meal. We did not even need dessert. My only minor criticism is the noise level. The restaurant was packed, which I am so happy to see! But this makes for quite a din in the dining room. It’s difficult to have a conversation, but I understand this on a busy Saturday night. Overall an outstanding meal! There is nowhere else outside of center city where you can get food that is this consistently flavorful and beautiful.

Had dinner here recently for the first time. The food was absolutely delicious. From the apps to the desserts everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Our server was top notch and knowledgeable about the menu and answered every question thrown at her. My only knock on it - and I took the star off in atmosphere - is that water is not free. We even asked to just have a pitcher of tap water and were told that it was not allowed. We generally drink a fair amount of water with meals and it was getting a bit frustrating having a sip or two of water poured at a time, and then having to pay $5 a bottle for it. I wonder if they'd charge a corkage fee if we brought our own bottles of water?

It was my favorite but tonight this changed we sat down at6:35. Our waitress got lost in the back for 8 minutes which is ok if we was to enjoy our meals but our first course came at 7:30. At 7:45 without being finished with our first course we were served our main courseThen told we had to leave at 8:00. No dessert no coffee for us . At 7:55 we were handed our check . The waitress was snippy and said talk to the ownerWe would love to enjoy our coffee and desert but we were told it was time to leave. Something is really wrong

Started off with old friends and had to wait 3o minutes for appetizer. Then 15 minutes later they pulled our appetizer and gave us our main courseTo tell us we had only 15 more minutes to eat!!That you had a 90 minute rule which is bad enough but the service was slowNo desert or coffee my waitress just gave us a check I will not go back nor recommend

Our group of six selected the prix fixe, Sunday evening dinner option, and walked away raving about EVERY dish!! Appetizer, pasta, entree and dessert were all good - and you could pick any item on the menu (no specials). Portions were a tad smaller than if we had ordered regularly, which made for a perfectly filling meal with just enough room for dessert. Flavors were exquisite; meats were perfectly done; sauces were apportioned perfectly.......one of the better meals we've had anywhere, all for a MORE reasonable price. ($35/pp - cash). Loved the squid ink pasta, and the veal was perfect!

I like the food even though it's pricey. I enjoyed it better without the corkage fees.

Trattoria Moma is a gem! It is one of the best places to eat in the area. Their waitstaff is knowledgeable, patient and observant. We were able to take advantage of the 4 course meal. It allowed us to enjoy an increadible dinner at a wonderful price point. This quaint restaurant extends its reach with outdoor seating adjacent to the building. The bread, perfect. The gluten free pasta options, perfect and the Osso Buco, amazing.Back again and the new artichoke dish is FANTASTIC!! Layered with goat cheese and carefully constructed. It looks as beautiful as it tastes.

We started coming to Trattoria Moma in the Spring of 2023 and have been back several times since. The food is fresh and delicious. We love that the pastas are homemade. The dishes are inventive yet simple. A true gem. The service is also great, particularly Jenny. So glad we found this place... a new fave!!
