They don’t offer some of the most basic services with restaurants…. PICK UP.

You HAVE to order at the counter since they take no orders over the phone for pick up. It’s freezing outside and it’s not the suburbs but you have to deal with it all if you wish to eat from this establishment. Extremely inconvenient. Hopefully they modernize their service at some point.

Oxtails are terrible. Every time I go there, they are different. The last time I got Oxtails they added either Ketchup or Barbecue sauce. It was Terrible. Never order Oxtails again.

Good: Never seen oxtails this humungous! The fried chicken was well-seasoned.

Not so Good: Never had food this oily, Couldn't taste the thyme, scallions or ketchup...could only taste the flavors of the brown sauce.

THIS PLACE IS GORGEOUS AND AMAZING.. I have had a few jamaican spots nothing is topping Tropical Choice in west philly! The jerk chicken is so flavorful it’s unbelievable! The oxtails are so tender fall off the bone! Also the beautiful mural painting ? I recommend this place to anyone!

OMG LET ME TELL YOU THE OXTAILS ARE THE BEST IN WEST PHILLY! This was my 2nd time here and this place has been newly renovated and everything is fresh! Highly recommend oxtails or jerk chicken 10/10
