We had a 2-hour drive just to try out the Philly Cheese Steak here. The meat was flavorful but a bit dry, and the cheese was not melted. The fries were excellent, though.

Delicious cheese steak. Out first time, we waited to see what was popular and got a cheese steak w/ cheese whiz. It was so good we had to get one more for the road. We will be back soon...

Famous tourist trap. Thats ok, I’m a local (can walk from my house). Place looks clean. Staff not as surly. Meat was fine…but the roll? Are you serious? The best italian bakery in the city is two blocks away (Sarcone) The roll was soft and chewy. But I was there with my son so we absorbed some good old fashion Italian Market ambiance.

I was told that the kitchen was closed,, sitting there a man walks up and orders foods,,,smh

Pat’s used to be the go to place for cheesesteaks. Went there last week. Terrible. I looked in the window and meat was sitting there on the grill waiting for customers versus being cooked to order. Tough and chewy will never go back. The rude staff was funny years ago, but it is now over the line. Grow up.

Ordered delivery while in Philly from out of town. Was told I had to get a cheesesteak from Pats! Well, it was awful. Literally had ZERO cheese, 1 small piece of onion and about 4 peppers on my pepper cheesesteak. Tried calling several times- no answer. No reply to my email. What a joke.

I accidentally ordered my steak with wiz and to my surprise I'm glad I did. It was delicious and well worth the trip. We don't get good sandwiches like this in Los Angeles.

Pats Steaks has been around for almost 100 years, sure its in questionable area but the food was good, we got the philly steaks with wiz and fried onions and peppers, good taste, lots of wizz, average value, it is what it is! do yourself a favour and grab a philly steak from here!
