We had friends in town and this was the perfect place to catch up. The ambience hits the sweet spot of feeling elevated without being stuffy or pretentious. There was plenty of room for our table of 5 and we enjoyed sharing a selection of makis. As the only vegetarian in the group, I had plenty of options to choose from as well. The sweet potato maki in particular was very good. The cocktails are also creative and tasty.
We have been to Tuna Bar about four times over the last year. Each meal has been excellent. The Makis are always fresh and delicious. We always love the spring rolls, edamame, miso soup and cocktails. Five stars.
Food was great, but the service was not. Our server rushed us the entire time (7:30 reservation) and acted as if he'd rather be doing anything else. We did not feel welcomed at all.
