First visit to Twisted Gingers and it hit the spot. It’s a low-key neighborhood brewery with a nice bar setup— and the beer’s legit. I tried a sour and a stout, and both were poured clean with good carbonation and body. Definitely not flat—just well kept and fresh off the taps.

And the pizza— Big win. They serve 14” pies alongside the beers, which of course, is the perfect combo. I got the pepperoni with Mike’s Hot Honey—dough had nice texture,...

I coached a few HS basketball games at the prestigious Philly Live tournament on a Saturday morning, and was looking for a spot around Jefferson to grab a good brew and a little lunch. Used Yelp and Untappd to find Twisted Gingers, and I'm very glad I did. The perfect definition of a neighborhood brewery - the corner spot of a traditional Philly rowhouse designed into a model of the beer can itself. Very unique. I love this place. The pizza and vibes are great. However, this is the second time I’ve been asked to move tables while I’m mid bite of pizza to give my table to a larger group of people. I was on the last slice and clearly leaving soon. It’s super unprofessional.
