Terrible customer service

I was disappointed they were out of crab cakes but the fried fish was best I’ve ever had and the turkey wings were also delicious,

I would have given a five star, but the lady at the front taking my order had a nasty attitude,come to find out it's the owner, and it's a shame cause it was my first time coming and to my surprise the food was amazing, but because of her attitude I'll spend my money elsewhere. Dam shame

Stopped by to check out their Whiting platters. It was very good. Service was amicable. Their rice with gravy was tasty.

I've been coming here for years.

Parking: meter street parking. It can get a little tight sometimes but pack patient and feed the meter.

Atmosphere low lighting old school set up low noise.

Service: family run black owned business. They are very customer focused and are happy to customize your platters. They offer drinks, dessert and different soul food: turkey wings is a popular one.

My favorite are their Halal wings which are cooked just right with some hot sauce and garlic and I am so happy. I don't even get home before I've eaten most of them.

Overall my experience here has always been good and I always look forward to going back and I miss them when I'm not in the area. I hope you enjoy your experience.

Have you ever walked inside of a restaurant, and you could tell that the food is amazing just by the vibe? I knew it was going to be good, I didn't expect it to be OUTSTANDING! I am impressed! In addition to the food in the photo, I also got lima beans and rice for my mom. I can't wait to support this business again!
