My cousin referred me to this restaurant and I see why!!! The food was amazing. Real down home soul food. I ordered the sticky wings, cabbage and mac & cheese and my sister ordered baked salmon, cabbage, rice and mac and cheese. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The atmosphere gives you the old school vibes with the dim lighting, cozy eat-in area and pictures of the people and community they serve; each picture tells a story. Definitely going back. Ordered a chicken wing platter with green beans and mac and cheese and a kiwi straw drink. Chicken wings were delicious, crispy and added a sweet polynesian like sauce that paired really well. Mac and cheese was the highlight of the platter , green beans were little salty for my taste but good flavor , kiwi strawberry drink was straight sugar but took me back to my childhood . Service from the two ladies working they're butt off in hot kitchen was great. They made sure I had all I needed and were very kind . Overall experience 9.1/10 !
I had to get me & my husband some food. So I stopped here. Was greeted well, very mannerful. Food was great. Presentation was everything & I will always support black businesses. Go check them out

I would post a picture but I’m embarrassed at how I devoured that plate. Y’all go get you some I had the 6pc fried chicken w a side of grabbage yams and Mac. I’m finna go pull my size 16s back out because they gone get me to eating this every week. Not too salty everything was just right.
