I visit this establishment once and awhile. The mashed sweet potatoes are horrible. They are ALWAYS watery and taste horrible. The slab of ribs are hit or miss. Sometimes they're too burnt. Can you say, CARCINOGEN. Four months later, BBQ ribs are severely burnt. Mashed sweet potatoes are soupy. If it wasn't obvious before, management is not concerned about customer satisfaction. Stretching the sweet potato concoction by diluting it with too much water is top priority. Putting burnt anf black ribs on display is embarrassing.

Went to dinner w/ family yesterday, the lady serving us kept asking for another tip when my aunt tipped on her card earlier but she insisted that she didn't tip. they try to guilt you into tipping again so if you have a card, only tip AFTER you eat or apparently they'll get mad that you don't tip again.

Leaving a 1 star because we were forced to tip a second time. When we first got to the place we paid up front before we ate, and left a tip on our debit card receipt. When we finished eating, the waitress came and asked why we didn't leave a tip on the table and I was confused and thought that maybe they don't share tips with the rest of the wait staff if you tip up front, so I left another tip in cash on the table because she looked angry. I come to find out that this has happened to other people because they left similar reviews. The waitresses shouldn't ask to be tipped again and cause confusion when we tipped already when we first came in. I know they work hard so I didn't have a problem leaving another tip if she was confused, but now I have to think it's a scam since it seems to consistently happen to other people where they are asked to tip again.

Food is good and pleantyful. I will say they don't like you to linger to long the staff will hover at your table making you feel it's time to clear out.

Variety over quality I'd say. Seems like a local place. Don't go out of your way if you're passing by. But if you do the fried crab is tasty. Some other stuff is okay. I will probably forget about this place in a few months.

I was at United Buffet Roosevelt Blvd Nov 2, 2025. Female waitress or servers watched you uncomfortably while you eat. They make sure you give tip. They seem to rush you eat while you seat at your assigned table. The bad thing, waitress or server tried to snatched my cup as I was still drinking my hot tea and eating my cake dessert because more people arriving in Cashier line to eat when there are more available tables for incoming customers.

Be careful with these ladies stalking your table getting ready to ask for a tip, you pay and sign at counter just for them to bring another receipt to ask you to put tip when you almost finish eating.

Dining in is bad experience and had food poisoning from their food. They used old oil and quality of food wasn’t good.

I found this in my food! A big fried furry monkey the past Saturday! When I asked the waitress she just told me to go to the front desk, and when I showed it to the lady she very calmly said not to worry because that was where the mushrooms were grown. And I asked her how was that possible? Didn't they wash and sort the mushrooms? And she said that since they cooked a lot of the food that it was normal! I definitely don't know if I'll visit a Chinese buffet again, much less this one! It seems like dirty food is normal there!
