Today is my bday, and as I ate my dinner at the restaurant across the street from this establishment I knew I had to visit. I watched a group of young ladies come in and one after the other they began to dance while waiting for their ice cream. When I entered I encountered a family of 4 in which the father began to dance and lovingly snuggle up to his wife to his son’s chagrin lol. It was the music! Very tasteful but entertaining and engaging. After the family left I was there alone and the proprietor was so very gracious and welcoming. I ordered the vegan ice cream (cookies n cream swirl) in which he added free toppings for my birthday. This place is a must visit when coming to Philly, definitely won’t be disappointed. ? P.S. the ice cream didn’t survive the walk to my hotel, so I don’t have any pics, but take my word for it.

This is VERY overdue, but I promised the staff on duty that night I would write this review. My husband & two friends stopped in on the evening of Saturday, 8/12/23. Not only was the ice dream we got delicious but everyone working there that night was very friendly & professional. We had just had dinner a few blocks away & I suggested going to Van Leeuwen's because we wanted desert & none of us had ever tried this brand. VERY happy we did.

MY ABSOLUTE FAV!!!!!!! esp the flavor planet earth…pls make it a permanent flavor for me please. But honestly, I have tried so many flavors and they’re all good. The customer service is always great, workers are always so kind.
Good but not worth the hype. As an ice cream lover I was excited to give this place a try. I tried the seasonal ice cream, Pumpkin Cheesecake. It was good. I wasn't exactly impressed by the store, the ice cream, or the cost. I think if you're 'vegan' this would be a great place to try as they have several vegan ice creams.

This ice cream was absolutely delicious! The scoops were so creamy and packed with flavor. The cashier was friendly and gave us a couple of samples each. We ended up with the Peanut butter brownie honeycomb, Honeycomb, and Lavender. I'd definitely return to try their wide variety of unique flavors! They also have prepackaged pints available for purchase.

This is a great creamery located in a nice area of Philly. Great ice cream flavors and texture, the product fulfilled all my expectationes. The service was fast and correct. The shop is not so big, there is no place for sitting. Great experience overall!
