Varga Bar is a neighborhood spot in the fancier side of town, offering a wide selection of beers, ciders, and vegetarian-friendly options. The menu features the best fries in town and a delicious seitan cheesesteak, among other dishes. The staff is known for their friendly service and helpful recommendations. While the restaurant used to be great, it is now considered merely good. Nonetheless, Varga Bar remains a popular destination for a relaxing few rounds with friends or a speedy meal, with a welcoming atmosphere and an expansive list of cocktails and mocktails.
The bar is stocked from head to toe with spirits, as one would expect in the city of '76, but the atmosphere is inviting and just darn special. The drinks are unique and there are a ton of food options - so anyone can find what they're in the mood for. The wait staff are attentive and will accommodate requests. The atmosphere inside of this place is really cool, as there are dive bar feels to it, but the space is more cozy and inviting. The food is amazing, including the House Caesar Salad with an addition of HOBBS Hot Sauce, and the fries that really complement the dish.
