Bartender was very friendly and made a few tasty nonalcoholic Moscow Mules for me. Fried pickles were the best I have had and the VM burger was tasty. Duck fat fries were also very good (duh).

Small limited menu, which half of they're usually "out of". Everything is Ala cart which is fine but they charge $12 for a small portion fries. Everything is DROWNING in grease so don't go anywhere after eating here except maybe the bathroom. The bar only has limited things as well so make sure you look at their drink menu prior to going because they can't make most cocktails.

We stopped in yesterday to get one drink before heading home after work. I was so entertained by the bartenders Tyler & Daniel that my friend and I stayed for hours! Delicious cocktails with impeccable service, and amazing fried pickles. Literally the best fried pickles I’ve ever had! Definitely going back next week for happy hour!

Honestly one of the best experiences I've had at any restaurant/bar. The burger and fries were the best ive ever had. The server conner was one of the coolest servers I've had. Had an entire conversation with him about something he doesnt even follow. Had conversations with the other guests about an ongoing event and everything. Great experience. I 10/10 recommend village whiskey to anyone looking for good food and a great atmosphere.

Saw Village Whiskey listed in magazine as best place for burgers. The magazine was right! The burger was delicious. A bit pricey at $32..but well worth it!

Food was excellent. We had eggs, potato hash, burgers, fries and cheese sauce. Everything came exactly as ordered. Server was attentive and very pleasant. My son wants to return for his 21st birthday.

Their burgers are GOOD. They have expanded and now take up 2 back to back locations. I do think the original (left) side has much better vibes but obviously the food/drinks are same no matter what. Recommended if looking for upscale American food!

Always a great time. All hail duck fat fries. only downside to VW is the size of the place. worth every squished elbow however.

My mom and I stopped here for a quick bite before a show. Years ago, she used to rave about the place. After we ate, she said “Wow, this place really went down hill.” I wanted the Caesar salad. They were out of it. That is fine, I understand. I got the cobb salad and the shrimp po boy sliders and my mom got the short rib cheese fries. I have never in my life returned food and asked it to be taken off the check. The Cobb salad was a first. Cold, not crispy bacon on top. Dressing that was way too creamy. And chicken that was over seasoned. It was comparable if not worse than a wawa salad. I had probably four bites and told the server I didn’t like it. And she didn’t take it off the bill. I had to ask her to. And she said “I’ll have to ask a manager because you ordered it and it was made.” I hate to be that person, but I have worked in the industry and I have no idea what she is talking about. The shrimp po boys were served on stale buns and my mom and I didn’t finish them. The short rib cheese fries were okay but swimming in grease. I know no one goes to village whiskey for a salad. But I would have been find with a mediocre salad, not the worst salad I’ve had in my life and stale buns!

Favorite burger in the city. Nice ambiance and vibe. Walking distance from Rittenhouse Square and City Hall. Friendly and professional service. A favorite spot in the Rittenhouse neighborhood.
