This review is based on someone who frequents venues for live music. I would not recommend anyone to go to a live music event here. It is certainly a club/lounge experience. There is a huge VIP couch seating section towards the front of the stage. Not a space for any dancing. If you don’t have a table/bottle service you will be awkwardly crammed in the center of the venue between tables. I think it’s a cool venue for anything else other than wanting to see an artist perform. Especially if tickets for said artist sells out.

Great music, amazing cocktails. The bartenders really knew their stuff and provided OUTSTANDING service. Not exactly cheap, but we had a great time.

Really enjoyed the dueling pianos here as well as the food and drinks. Pierogies and flatbreads were delicious! Good service and enjoyed

Vinyl is a live music venue I was excited to try in a building the used to house an Applebee's, and a Bookbinders before that. When I arrived I sat at the crowded bar as a country singer was performing. She was actually pretty good, but the bar area was so loud it was impossible to just sit back and enjoy the music. The bartenders were very attentive and made excellent drinks. The Let The Devil In cocktail was a good take on the moscow mule. All the food is half price for happy hour. I ordered the shrimp cocktail, the baked potato pierogies, and the margarita flatbread. The shrimp were small and bland and came with ketchup instead of a cocktail sauce. The pierogies did not taste handmade like they were described. The margarita flatbread was the only good dish. I was glad I was only paying half price for the food. Vinyl was disappointing. I may be showing my age, as the crowd was mostly younger than me, but the noise level was disrespectful to the artist performing in my mind. I couldn't enjoy the music and I did not enjoy most of the food. Vinyl is a one and done for me.

Interesting vibe. Loved the idea of a live band but they played a lot of 2010's hit covers. The bathrooms were cool. Food was eh.

Been to Vinyl half a dozen times. Awesome spot, great live music, attentive service and they keep it classy. The food is surprisingly decent for this type of venue.

Heard this place just opened up in cc so decided to check it out with some friends around 12 am on a Sat night. Probably the worst club in Philly that I've been to. They had "special" guest charging $20/person cover throughout the night, and they definitely did not sound like special guests .. venue is SUPER SMOL and was super crowded so obviously the bathroom line was long, with a bunch of kids trying to cut in line, which made the line even longer since there were only ~2-3 stalls working. Overall it was the house music and the crowd that really threw me off, yall can try it out yourself but I'd rather go to blind barber (free) or concourse or NOTO for this price and better music.

Cool vibes. Slow start to a Thursday but the drinks are delicious and the crowd is picking up as the night goes on. Fun place. Missed John Legend passing through !!!!

The level of service and attention to detail can be much higher. This restaurant's heat was not functioning properly. The food at happy hour was quite tasty. I enjoy their happy hour hours. I've had better food, drink, and service elsewhere, so I'm not sure if I would visit again.

Just weird vibe. This establishment does not know what it wants to be. Is it DJ's & house music, live music or just poseurs & bottle service. So confused about what is going on here. Complete miss all around.
