Great stop for an afternoon bite. Exellent pizzas by the slice. Lots of varieties and great selection of sandwiches and sides.

First time and I have a new favorite slice spot. I had the pep n sausage, plus a slice of ricotta. Both had excellent flavor and the thin crust was perfection.

Best pizza spot in Philly!

Food was really good, and I was happy with the flavor and crisp of the pizza.
Service was alright, wasn’t greeted but the turn around time is fast.
Small place but comfortable for a lil lunch date (4 tables inside).

Great job Viva ! We will be back to try more :)

The best pizza we have tasted here in Philly! Service is excellent! All 5 Stars!!!

Pizza and salad were good and reasonably priced.
Two major negatives:
1) They don't serve tap water.
2) No restroom

Rude person who work at the front,

Anthony and Katorah Aaron

Story: we walked in with our four young children, got our food and sat down. The young man who took our order was very helpful and polite. We noticed the TV was playing inappropriate content for our small children and asked to change the channel to something like Little Bear. The young man was quick to help and changed the channel. We may have turned the pizzeria into a daycare because 2 other families with young children came in after us and a drink was even spilled, but we were thankful for the employee's attitude and customer service abilities.
Thank you for accommodating the next generation!

The margherita pizza is BOMB! The guy at the front was super nice, too :)

Review of Viva Pizza, Philadelphia

If you’re looking for the kind of place where you can grab a slice that feels like a celebration after going the distance in the ring, look no further than Viva Pizza. This is the real deal—the kind of old-school, no-frills, knockout slice joint where Rocky himself would’ve come after his first bruising bout with Spider Rico.

Let’s talk about the slice: thin crust, crispy edges, gooey mozzarella, and pepperoni with just the right snap. The sauce is bright and tangy with a whisper of sweetness—nothing fancy, just perfect. This isn’t some artisanal, wood-fired nonsense. This is Philly pizza. Foldable. Craveable. Legendary.

Viva Pizza has the grit and heart that this city’s known for. It’s unpretentious, it’s delicious, and it’s exactly where a champ—or anyone with

First time I had a veggie pizza I ate the whole thing it was so good this time it was absolutely terrible. I asked was the mushrooms fresh or canned and they said it was fresh… these are for sure canned mushrooms. The veggies don’t taste fresh and now my stomach is turning. I didn’t eat all day and I now have this nasty after taste. The pizza is soggy and I’m very displeased… idk who made this pizza but I was satisfied with the first time I ate with you guys after this I’ll most likely never order here again. And it was made entirely too sloppy. I will be filing a dispute because that was a waste of my money seriously.

Cute artwork on the walls. Really good pizza. LOTS of cheese without having to ask for extra. Pizza by the slice! Try one of each if you want.
