on our day trip to Philly and after roaming the halls of the barnes foundation ... we had a late lunch at Wilder. Very good. Waitress was attentive and personal. The soup and sandwich combo deal knock a couple dollars off the cost. The soups we had were very good, came out hot and yummy. The chicken sandwich was superb. The side salad and fries with a pickle were perfect. The fries not greasy and crunchy.

Excellent service, delightful lighting and atmosphere, exceptional creative dishes. The Jefferson Martini was decadent, the oysters were flawless (both roasted and raw) and the Caesar salad is worth the trip on it's own. Highly recommend Wilder for a date or pre-show snack and drinks! Flawless!

My wife and I went to Wilder on a lunch date and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The decor and ambiance, service, and food are top notch. The ingredients in all our dishes were obviously very fresh and put together by very talented folks. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially for a date!
I had a private dinner last Saturday and Wilder and our server Brie went above and beyond! Everything was amazing the atmosphere of the private room and the food was amazing! 10/10 will definitely be back.

I initially had a great dinner..... And then everything changed. As we had our takeout and preparing to exit the restaurant we were abruptly halted by the downstairs staff. A server insisted that they inspect the contents of our takeout boxes, they said this was to ensure that we had the right order. Initially I thought this was a necessary, as what are the odds that we mistakenly took the wrong takeout order. Nevertheless they said our take out boxes outside in the cold opened it and inspected the contents which were about five slices of pizza. This ruined experience overall, will not be returning.

The host and staff were nice but the food was painfully mid and overpriced for what it was. Just a PSA, the apple and grape sorbet stained my teeth blue and wouldn’t completely come off until I brushed my teeth, so don’t get it if you’re on a date with someone you barely know
