Have been here a few times and it’s been good, but this time I bit into my Wishboner and it was raw!

With that said, the staff gave me a new sandwich and it was not raw. In fact, it was delicious.

This place restores my soul! The service is awesome, only to be outdone by their amazing selection of comfort foods. I usually get the chicken tenders and cole slaw or mac&cheese. Homemade baked goods as well! Best I've ever had. Also, they have a well stocked bottle shop with a wide selection of some of the finest craft beers I've seen all in one place. Atmosphere is casual and welcoming! Great location, worth the trip if you're traveling. So much to do in town too.

Tried getting fried chicken over a salad to balance out with something lighter. Salad had nice fresh veggies but it was ruined by too many sweet toppings and gross syrupy dressing. Totally inedible I picked out the chicken (which was pretty good) but the meal as a whole was pretty disappointing.8

Restaurant was clean, open late, staff were nice. Maybe I’ll try a sandwich or meal one day but it’s too hot right now for something that heavy.

So flavorful and saucy! I loved the Nashville Spicy chicken sandwich. Generous proportion of chicken, too. Excited to try the others!

I love the vibe in here. Huge selection of quality beer if you want to mix & match.

The food was good. I got a chicken sandwich and fries. Fries were definitely fresh and delicious. A big portion. Sandwich was good minus the last little stringy bites. The sandwich & ingredients tasted fresh. My only complaint was the stringy chicken.

Service was good. Staff was nice. It was a quick turn around. I’d try it again.

Man, this chicken is so mid. Has absolutely no seasoning, no flavor, tastes like a child learning how to cook. Mind you the pudding is also served in a dixie sized mouth wash cup for $5+. Good beer selection tho. I do want a refund tho, I feel like I got robbed. They have better chicken at gas stations.

Honestly, I can’t believe how good and fresh everything was. Also, the service was surprisingly excellent. I was there late on a Friday, and the workers were all kind. I can’t wait to go back.

Wishbone is pretty hit or miss -- when it's good it's really good, and when it's bad, it's very bad. General advice would be to stick to stuff that they have out front. White meat and dark meat tenders are very good, the breading is unique and not like many other chicken places in the city. There's a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available, and some very nice sauces to go with them. Potato salads are homemade, and very good.

But when you order something from the kitchen (fries, tots, chicken sandwiches, etc) it becomes a lot more hit and miss. I've had two times now (most recently 5/15/2025) that I got a chicken sandwich that has been undercooked, pink, and chewy in the middle. Sometimes the fries are nice and crispy, sometimes they're soggy and room temperature. You can never really know what you're going to get if they aren't selling it right out front.

Customer service is very straightforward. Staff are there to sell you food, not to be your best friend. Personally, I like that. But if you want service workers to make you feel like a very special person, you will not get that here.

Overall, I really want to like Wishbone, because it's got great charm. The food that they're moving in high volumes, like the tenders and bites, are great. But when you ask for something specific that they need to cook in the back you may want to be a bit more careful.

Underwhelmed. Got the chicken tenders and (allegedly) “legendary” mac and cheese.

Wasn’t *bad*, but very bland.

I make excuses to leave the bars early to stop in and get chicken from Wishbone. It’s so craveable and they have me locked on their pesto parm dipping sauce. Dark meat chicken fingers are a godsend ❤️
