We just had the best meal here! My partner and I had planned on going elsewhere but we got there after 8pm and didn't have a reservation, so the wait was going to be an hour. We walked over to Wm. Mulherin's Sons and they got us a table in about 15 minutes. We proceeded to have one of the best meals I've had in a while! Starters: the octopus was crispy but succulent and the focaccia was pillowy perfection! Cocktails were excellent. The sausage pizza had a wonderful mix of flavors and the crust!! ? I could have eaten the pizza crust on its own, honestly. Thick and chewy on the edges and perfectly done throughout. We also shared a seasonal pasta with ramps, morels, peas, and asparagus, and got the chocolate mousse cake and gelato for dessert, which were heavenly. Our server Jamyl was attentive and warm, and checked in regularly. All in all, a perfect meal in a lovely location!
Couldn't get a table it was so busy but got lucky with 2 spots at the bar and had a great time with friendly bartenders, great drinks, and delicious food. Specialty pizzas are a must try

It’s the perfect space in my mind because it’s spacious, enough room if you have you family or bridal party, and it’s impeccably designed. We had the first look and gift exchange in the room and the interior design really adds to the couples photos in my mind. Definitely consider staying here before, during, and after your wedding and don’t forget to grab a drink and pizza from the restaurant below!

The staff here needs a reality check- you are serving pizza under the El. This is not the Ritz carlton. I had a reservation and the party before me was running over their time - I would've been fine with this except the bar does not allow standing room, so because of management's poor planning and overbooking they expect me to stand outside in the rain? I'm trying to hand you money here! I was also yelled at for moving a bar stool... I thought this was a BAR not detention? The second time I came here we were ignored by our bartender as he was too busy texting and the others were talking amongst themselves. When we finally did get our food they brought us the wrong things. The drinks are good, the food is just ok. The only saving grace is the decor but even the aesop soap is fake lol.If you want to have a bunch of rules for your "Fancy" restaurant and charge $17 for cocktails your staff should provide the equivalent level of service. I will not be returning.

I brought my mom here to celebrate her birthday and we had the most wonderful experience! Erin was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal! She was very knowledgeable, personable, and fun. She made excellent recommendations for us and provided us the perfect mix of attentiveness when needed and space to enjoy our meal. Erin is one of the best servers I have had at any restaurant ever! We ordered the octopus, smoked beets, schialatelli, and a special pizza. Every dish was true to the Italian style of using quality ingredients with an elegant combination that elevated the menu to something truly special. The drinks were exquisite! We had two specialty cocktails and they were artfully made. My mom was so impressed with the ambience and overall experience. Definitely try the octopus. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Ask for Erin if you can!

When I think of quality, I think of Wm Mulherin’s. Though many restaurants in the city offer pasta, the dishes from here stand out above the rest by far. The cocktails here are amazing as well, and the dessert never ceases to amaze me. My partner and I get the chocolate cake almost every time we go, and it’s always mind-blowingly consistent. The service is always phenomenal as well. I have always left this place feeling absolutely satisfied in every way. If I could give ten stars, I would!
The pizza and carbonara were amazing. The ambience is great too, love the fireplace, but it can get a bit too loud.

Absolute must try.The ambience in the old building is dark and elegant. But no worries, you can show up dressed as relaxed as you feel.Drinks were creative and on point and the food was amazing!!!It comes out of the kitchen as it is done.So sharing is caring!! Order a bunch and just eat on it till the next item comes around.This is in my opinion the best way to taste as much in a new place as possible.Super friendly service as well. Def be back

While the food was great and our server did his best, we were seated in their “partially covered outdoor area” that we were told in advance had heating. It was blizzarding yesterday morning so the temps outside that evening were around 20. I would’ve obviously never agreed to dine outdoors without heat but given the way they described the set up, we went. The heating was broken for 80% of the night, meaning we all sat there FREEZING and so uncomfortable. When we talked to the manager, he wasn’t even slightly apologetic and offered no remediation. Instead they continued to seat diners in that area?! I LOVE this spot but this treatment isn’t okay at all in dangerous temperatures. The lack of consideration of their patrons and ZERO remorse for it was enough that I’m not sure we’ll ever go back. Huge missed opportunity for them to just do the right thing. Even an “I’m sorry” would’ve gone a long way.

We complained to the waiter (who was great) multiple times and they said their manager was working on it. By the time we went to pay our ties were frozen. I asked to speak to the manager who couldn’t have done less make the situation right, cared so little they didn’t even muster the interest in offering us drinks or even coffee to keep us warm. They also never actually apologized. Street should be shut down if they don’t have heat.
