i just did not think this was a good steak. The meat was chopped to the point of being “ground”. The truffle whiz was overpowering, oddly aerated and not for me. The meat/cheese ratio was off - way too much cheese. I had high hopes based on reviews but not for me. The QR nonsense with staff standing around doind nothing is annoying but livable. The roll was very good as were the fries. The steak size was large (only ate half). Maybe if i liked it more i wouldve eaten it all.

The Woodrow’s Whiz Wit (Cheesesteak,Woody Style) was amazing! The truffle whiz made the sandwich. The shaved meat had great texture and flavor. The fries were fresh and thicker which is my favorite. All in all, this is a hidden gem of a place for cheesesteaks!

I would give this place 5 stars because the food is amazing however I came in from out of town yesterday just for this and asked for my bread on the side so I could make it when I got back home as I ordered multiple items. I went to make my food to find out they didn’t give me the truffle cheese whiz. Literally the WHOLE reason I came here. I’m irritated beyond belief as it’s a two hour drive. I should have checked but I thought the meat was mixed with it and didn’t want to mess with the tape on the box since I was transporting it. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t give someone who ordered a CHEESEsteak the CHEESE. Especially when you have a speciality cheese. Why would I want it without cheese?

Got the Cuban sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. It was very flavorful, but there was a little bit of a wait although the line was not long.
I used to go here but the last time I went in there was a younger Spanish woman who greeted me and she was super rude. I hope they replace her or properly train the staff

Been here a few times, tried a lot of cheesesteaks in Philly. This spot has one of the most distinct wiz it’s made with truffles. It is so good I could drink the cheese sauce. Def recommend this spot.

The sandwiches were great, and the service was great. However the place was too small and uncomfortable for me. I would suggest moving and perhaps expanding the business, because everything else about Woodrow's Sandwich Shop was good.
