got the wit truffle whiz and the whiz was grainy, someone messed up the roux. The truffle whiz was overpowering and I felt robbed for the price and the service.

Homemade whiz and the cherry pepper mayo are game changers. This sandwich was flavorful and delicious. If you are skeptical about whiz, this is made from scratch and is 1,000 times better than the cheap stuff. Their cheesesteaks are nothing short of legendary.

Had a fantastic experience at Woodrow's Sandwich Shop in Philly! This was our first stop and our first time trying a Philly cheesesteak sandwich in the city. The whiz was absolutely perfect, the meat was tender, and the bread had the ideal combination of being crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. The highlight for me was the Cajun fries—hand-cut, freshly fried, and seasoned just right with Cajun spices. The staff were friendly, and the environment was welcoming and nice overall. Highly recommend!

Ok...so overall this sandwich was REALLY good. The only negative I could say was that the actual meat was quite bland. It was served piping hot, had nice soft onions and that cheez sauce wasn't just plain boring cheez whiz.

Walked across town to find this place was closed on Saturday, August 24. I'm not sure if it is permanently closed or other issues going on to have it open as there was no note or anything on social media. A little notice somewhere would be nice.
