Yards represents a great story of a local business that does well enough to expand and grow. The location offers a great variety of food as well as the iconic brews they're known for, in an open, though sometimes loud, environment. Parking options aren't great if you're not walking or Ubering, but it's the city so that's to be expected. That said, I was so happy when they took over this former commercial space and transformed it a few years ago and demonstrates how successful their brand has become and not just in the Philadelphia area!
Wonderful Happy Hour. My husband and I enjoyed delicious appetizers and beer on tap! Looking forward to our next visit :)
Food and beer are too good
So the beer is actually on point and bar tenders are amazing.
Great space…. But it was so damn hot tonight. They had fans going… why not turn on the AC? It’s June
The food was honestly nothing special… the wings were standard and the quesadilla had zero flavor and the guac also zero flavor.
This place has evolved over the years. Back then felt more like a brewery in which you go for a tour and try beer with a dining area that was not as refined, but that has changed and it has become a great place to grab a bite and drink with friends and in a group of all sizes. This place becomes crazy during sport events and the vibe is great. They have an outdoor area as well that is pet-friendly. The food is not bad, but not great and typical for a brewery. Everyone knows Yards beer, so not much to comment on, but they have a very wide selection including non-Yards alcohol as well. As for the service, if it's busy it can suck, but otherwise usually good.
Chill spot that's good for watching a game or just hanging out. Staff is always tremendous and a major reason why I frequent Yards so often.
Good beer selections, limited happy hour. Great access to the riverfront trails from here. Def recommend.
Did the inagural uncensored tour with Mike Hans (he looks a lot younger in real life vs. on the poster). Had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back.
Yards Brewing has a fantastic venue space—spacious, vibrant, and perfect for hanging out or hosting events. The beer, unfortunately, was just average, nothing particularly memorable. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were an interesting concept but fell a little short on flavor. Overall, it’s a nice spot for the atmosphere, but the food and drinks could use a bit more flair.

Went on a date night with my man and we had a great time. The food was very well cooked and seasoned. We got pretzels that were delicious. The mustard had wasabi so it was veryyy spicy and it also came with melted cheese on the side that I loved. Then I got the Schwab burger and it was delicious. My boyfriend got a salmon burger but he didn’t love it. I’m not a beer girl but they had cocktails and it was an amazing drink. I forget the name sorry! The service was great, Leo was our server he was very nice and we got everything we asked for in a timely manner. The atmosphere was nice, just loud on a Saturday night. There’s a shop to buy beer and a pool table. I think there’s an upstairs but we didn’t go up there. Would recommend for girls night, date night, and just casually getting together.

Overall a great place. The beer was good, the Po Boy was great. I would have tried more beers but the waiter never asked if I wanted another drink or needed anything else until my food was gone.

Uh-oh
I'm starting to taste that very recognizable - "used to be good restaurant but we've got a customer base so lets change the menu and cheapen the ingredients taste ".
Usually a good spot but something as of recent is off. I'm a loyal customer and would like to come back but I'm not sure.
This restaurant already had a good Rythm going it seems like the beat is different.

Really tasty beer, cool spot. Like another reviewer, visited in a Saturday afternoon and found it packed to standing room. Service moved quickly, though. Free stickers for the brewery and their beers are behind the counter. Thumbs up!
Kat and Val provided a warm and enjoyable environment to pre game for a concert!
