It feels just like the quality of the food. Old, questionable, and below average. Luckily our server was kind because that’s the only reason we stayed. I knew when I stepped in that it’d be bad and I should have listened to my intuition. My aunt, sister, and I instantly felt queasy after eating here. The seafood was terrible quality, the chicken was flavorless and hard. Don’t go, honestly. Don’t. I don’t know how they mustered 4 stars.

I am sorry what in the mayo is this?? It looks like something else and not mayo. It tastes like dry shrimp, old lettuce, and cheap mayo rice sandwich. You must be kidding me. I don't recall it to be April 1, otherwise I'd take it as a Fool's Day joke. Maybe your chef woke up and suddenly forgot his entire menu? Otherwise I cannot explain this Boston sushi roll presentation. Mayo splashed all over it like some kind of rookie abstract painting. I called and asked wth this is and the chef laughingly explained that it is how Boston roll is made. No my friend, it is not! We have ordered from your place before and it definitely not how it is made. It tastes exactly how it looks. Like Sh#t !

We ordered takeout from Yellowtail: scallion pancakes, wasabi shumai, yakitori chicken, and a few sushi rolls. They have a deal of 3 sushi rolls for $35.95, so we took advantage of that and ordered the Firecracker, the Fusion, and the Lost of Control rolls. Standouts of the meal were the wasabi shumai, which were delightfully crispy and a bit bitey. The Firecracker roll was definitely the best of the sushi rolls. There are other places they we've ordered from that we enjoy more, but it's still a solid option in the neighborhood in a pinch!

They are super fast and very good. They also have a lot of sharing options so it’s good for group

Every time my partner and I are craving sushi, we come here. It's inexpensive, byob, and really yummy! If you're in the area and want a killer seaweed salad, here is where to get it!

I ordered the Philly roll, salmon roll, and tuna roll. Portions of fish in the rolls were decent. Some a little better than others. The Chinese pizza/scallion pancake is tasty but on the crunchier side. The miso soup was good but mostly broth, not a lot of tofu. Would order again.

This is one of those hidden gems in Philly. It is not fancy at all -- they only have 4 or 5 tables; they do mostly takeout and delivery I think -- but the food is always amazing. The fish is super fresh and the rice is soft and flavorful.

This appeared to be a great Japanese restaurant. They have a wide variety of hot and cold appetizers and entrees. The space is fairly modern, and the service was good.

I hate to write bad reviews for a small business, but I am writing from my experience and there may be good things in the menu, or experience of dine-in is different.Do not order Shrimp Tempura. It does not taste like real shrimp and it was full of grease. I also ordered scallion pancake and it was extremely greasy. I ordered through ubereats and they definitely cheated me out for the things I ordered. I ordered the shrimp tempura entree (which should come with shumai and others) but got the "bento box" instead, which was just rice and soup. Quality is not the best for what I ordered.

I placed an order for delivery. My order got mixed up with a different order and the delivered order was significantly smaller and cheaper than the one that I placed. They did nothing to fix this issue and the man actually put me on hold and then just hung up. $83 order with a good tip and all I was delivered was a small combo and soup. Terrible customer service and I will have to file a chargeback to get my refund. I'd recommend Sumo Sushi down the street

Update: since changing ownership… quality and service has taken a significant dive… not the same fresh/quality sushi nor do they have the same attentive care it once showed… It will be a while till we go back… give them sometime to find their footing… I am always willing to give a place a second chance… but they have some big shoes to fill from they way it was with previous owners. One of the best places in town to get sushi that is also a BYOB.... Highly recommended for fresh and quality food and amazing service... Very friendly and attentive
