The service is terrible. Customer service is not known. The atmosphere is racially charged. Both asian man and lady are rude beuond belief. I would not recommend this location for an enemy of the worst sort for I believe even my enemy would deserve better treatment

As a longtime member of the West Philadelphia community, I feel compelled to speak on my experience at Yummy Diner. While the diner is located in a predominantly Black neighborhood and clearly benefits from Black patronage, the treatment that Black customers receive is consistently disrespectful and dismissive.
It’s disheartening to support a business that shows such disregard for the very community that keeps it thriving. A place that profits from our culture and dollars should at the very least offer basic respect in return.
We deserve to be treated with dignity and humanity wherever we choose to spend our money. I hope Yummy Diner takes a serious look at how they engage with the community they serve—because we are watching, and we are not obligated to support places that don’t value us.

So asking for food you PAID for to be hot and proper to eat will get you a complementary threat and mistreatment by the man and woman who work there!! SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my first visit in six years and I was surprised to see new owners, an empty place and no servers. Unfortunately, the place has gone down and so has the quality of the food. The food was not hot and lacked any flavor. The grits were tasteless and so was the toast. Save your money and go to any of the other breakfast spots nearby.
Food is good home fries no taste lady up front doesn’t like us you can immediately tell and to have to pay for your toast is absurd bacon eggs and grits is $14 with a drink $16 portions are not worth it the smallest bacon in the world turkey and beef bye yummys move on

It's sad to see someone own a restaurant in a community where they don't want to be. This is a very diverse neighborhood it's gone through a lot of changes I came in I was very respectful but you can tell these people don't want to deal with anyone. They don't smile, welcome you at all. It's what do you want and leave it seems. I ordered some breakfast I saw that the dining room was taped off. I asked if I could sit they said yes. I asked for a cup of water and they said they don't have a cup of water I can buy soda or something. The food was okay but I would definitely not come back and I really wouldn't recommend this business because of the way they are.

The customer service in this place definitely sucks!! Lady on phone shouts and was very rude when taking orders. The service was even worse when you go to pick up food. Overcharged platters PLUS extra charge for toast! Other working customers (CITY WORKERS) came in to order food, however, immediately left after hearing the way the lady was STILL talking to the other customers. THAT SHOULD SAY MORE THAN ENOUGH!!
