Idky we always have a problem when I order my chicken quesadilla with mushrooms I'm paying for them but they constantly lie to me about many reasons it's no mushroom on my quesadilla I let that go but today they gave me a soggy quesadilla I'm done cold turkey. My thing is I ordered at 9pm they close at 9:30pm if you not gone make the food like you do when it's mid day STOP TAKING ORDERS.... waste my money to have to get home and put my food in the air fryer š”š¤š¤¬

Extremely disappointing experience. The staff showed no sense of hospitality or basic courtesy. When you work in a place that serves people, the least you can do is treat guests with respect. Wonāt be coming back.

Iām not sure why this hasnāt really been mentioned but their Ethiopian food offerings are legit! Run.. donāt walk! Really cute hole in the wall that while yes.. they offer pizza, their Ethiopian is what you should be going in for!! So glad I found this neighborhood gem! Get the meat combo, itās a little bit of everything including veg!

I ordered through DoorDash and the experience was awful. Estimated wait was 30 mins and it took almost two hours. This information was not shown before I ordered but according to the DoorDash app tracker feature they āhave their own deliveryā so it didnāt update on the app properly nor could support help me. The number they gave me was a woman who works there cell phone number. When I called she didnāt answer so I found the store number on hood and when I called the store they said āyea, we are closing the store then we will deliver your orderā. 45 minutes later that same cell phone number called me saying they were outside and didnāt know where to enter even though there is only one building on my entire block. Turns out they went to the back of my building for some reason even tho the address is easy to finds The food showed up soggy and cold. It was tasteless and unseasoned. Do yourself a favor and never order delivery from this place, at least not through doordash.

Hell yeah, Zuzu's.
Where to even begin with this place? While often solid, it is deeply inconsistent. No meal is likely to be the same twice which can definitely be annoying.
PIZZA: It's decent! The crust seems to change regularly, but overall the sauce and cheese game is strong. You can get a medium (the closest they have to a small) pizza for about 10 bucks and sadly I can eat these in a sitting.
CHEESESTEAK: Pretty meh! Look, I love these guys, but these are easily the weakest part of their rotation. The meat and cheese are largely solid, but the inexplicable aspect here is the bread. It is trash. It's never toasted and it is low grade garbage. This city has the best sandwich bread on the planet. There's no excuse for this.
ZUZU'S CHICKEN SAMMY: Fantastic except for the bread (see above)
THE WILD CARD - VEGAN ETHIOPIAN FOOD: Holy shit this is Zuzu's ace in the hole. Not only is it affordable takeout, but it's some of the best Ethiopian food I've ever had. The siro wat is tremendous. A+

Weāre staying in an Airbnb just up the street so popped in and ordered samosas as a snack and took them across the street to Our Town Taproom. They were really good so we went back and got the Ethiopian vegan platter and some BBQ wings to go. The food was excellent and I really enjoyed meeting the son of the family who owns the restaurant. He was taking orders, running the register and was just a really nice guy. Was glad to support their family business and the food was great.
Vegetarian options: The Vegan platter had six varieties of Ethiopian dishes and came with injera crep

I called in at 11 am to order 6 pizza's on the SLICE app for a meeting at work. I let them know that I would like the pizza's for 12 no later than 12:15pm. I waited until 12:30 NO pizza. there are people waiting in the meeting room for this pizza so I start calling the restaurant and keep getting the voicemail. I waited until 1pm for them and still no pizza. so I decided to go pick it up and I got there around 1:25 and they tell me it will be 5 more minutes for the pizza's. once I get the pizza's back to the office they were DISGUSTING! they put a very thin layer of cheese and barely any sauce so this made the crust get very hard. I don't even want to leave them 1 star. they need to shut that place down!
Parking: no where to park and the store is very small and hot. it felt like 150 degrees when I walked in.

Iāve been coming here for almost 2 years and they are great. Personally Iād say skip the pizza, their wraps and Ethiopian food is so much better. Honestly, skip everything and get one of the Ethiopian dishes. You can bring the food over to the bar next door for a cold drink and EXCELLENT food. The guy who works the counter is so extremely nice! Their hours are not up to date though! They close around 9/9:30 on week nights and by 10 on weekends usually. Best to come in an hour before close usually as they sometimes donāt match their listed hours. Overall quality place for to-go food but TOP TIER Ethiopian dishes.
Vegetarian options: Most of their Ethiopian dishes are vegetarian and they are the BEST part of the menu. Excellent food, great options, give them a try. They are worth it!!!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegan, dairy free, and vegetarian options!!
