I live in Port Matilda and have recently been disappointed in how few good Asian restaurants remain in the State College area. Finding out about Main Won is a major source of excitement for me! They have my favorite-- mu shu pork-- and do it particularly well, the General Tso's was hot, crisp, and just lightly sweet, and the fried dumplings were simply the best I've had anywhere. This may now be a weekly staple in my house!

Our favorite local Chinese restaurant. We order delivery and take out from here. this occasion was take out. Dumplings are great. I love the Pepper Steak and Beef Lo Mein.Parking: located on front street, you must find a spot. Not usually difficult but sometimes that street gets busy if something is going on.

fantastic love these guys being is there like the only Chinese place left in Phillipsburg that kind of helps. my favorite dish is Happy family I miss seafood I've lived in the tropics most my life lived in Spain for 3 years fresh seafood and paella, sooo good. Living in Puerto Rico was okay but the fishing was great.

Central PA is hit or miss for Chinese food, and this place is always a hit! Made fresh to order with fresh ingredients with yummy sauces, whenever we're in Philipsburg we like to stop by and grab some food. My favorite is the tofu and veggies, highly recommend even if you're not usually a tofu fan- they fry it perfectly! You can dine in or carry out and call ahead orders if you're in a hurry. If you're craving Chinese food and in Philipsburg this is a must try!Vegetarian options: Mmmmmm gotta love that bean curd!
I came in to pick up my 2 soups i ordered online and the workers proceeded to laugh and comment in their language there was no tip on the order, which I was planning to give cash. First of all I don't know why they deserve a tip when I came in to get my own food but I was a server and was gonna tip. So disrespectful will not be going back.

Used to be great, haven't ate there for a while. Tried some of their pork egg rolls to go last week? Terrible!! Ate 1/2 one and threw the rest away. About 99% cabbage and wasn't cut up at all. And the place didn't get any cleaner. Nasty.

I've been eating at Main Won for a few decades and I've never been disappointed. The food is always delicious and fresh at a reasonable price. If you are not from the area, the restaurant is physically run down, I wish they would renovate. Don't let that distract you from the fact that this is a very nice family who cooks delicious food...best quality food in town, hands down.
