Our favorite local Chinese restaurant. We order delivery and take out from here. this occasion was take out. Dumplings are great. I love the Pepper Steak and Beef Lo Mein.Parking: located on front street, you must find a spot. Not usually difficult but sometimes that street gets busy if something is going on.
Central PA is hit or miss for Chinese food, and this place is always a hit! Made fresh to order with fresh ingredients with yummy sauces, whenever we're in Philipsburg we like to stop by and grab some food. My favorite is the tofu and veggies, highly recommend even if you're not usually a tofu fan- they fry it perfectly! You can dine in or carry out and call ahead orders if you're in a hurry. I live in Port Matilda and have recently been disappointed in how few good Asian restaurants remain in the State College area. Finding out about Main Won is a major source of excitement for me! They have my favorite-- mu shu pork-- and do it particularly well, the General Tso's was hot, crisp, and just lightly sweet, and the fried dumplings were simply the best I've had anywhere. This may now be a weekly staple in my house!
