Rude behavior of the manager. And very limited options for a $18 buffet compared to other Indian restaurants in the area.

We have been getting takeout from this restaurant almost weekly for a couple of months. The food is phenomenal. The food somehow makes me feel like I’ve been cared for by the folks who prepared it. <3 And our kids love the chicken dishes (mild). Something for everyone! They always give us a free dessert with our (big) order. The staff has been friendly.

Probably my favorite restaurant! Definitely try the gobi Manchurian and there is a lamb dish with pepper sauce, I forget the name of it lol. Also their madira chicken dish! Chef's kiss! Mango lassi's and the garlic naan are absolute must haves! We travel from afar just to come here with at least 10 similar type of restaurants on the way. Amand's beats them out every time! We are repeat customers and can't wait to go back!....Again lol

Been eating here every week since 2013 and have gotten to know the owner and his family. There is no better place I would rather be for a family dinner. Most respectful owner and a beautiful family.Very reasonably priced and excellent food.

The owner was extremely arrogant and misbehaving. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I am extremely disappointed that I decided to take my kids there to have a good time and they had to leave without eating anything.

I've been here years ago and the food was ok. Not great. But good. Saag Paneer is my go to dish although I prefer eggplant because while Saag Paneer is USUALLY good at most places in the area, Baingan Bharta is hit or miss. So, I ordered papadum, saag paneer and - because I love tamarind - Papri Chaat. Which is described on the menu as "seasoned potatoes and vegetables 'with crisp wafers' tossed in yogurt, topped with tamarind sauce". The papri chaat was primarily "crisp wafers" with little potatoes and the only vegetable was a few random chickpeas. Little tamarind sauce, which was packaged separately in a small container that spilled in the bag. The papadum I ordered had no accompanying sauces (usually it comes with a tamarind, a chutney, and a cilantro chutney) and I received only a single severally crushed piece of papadum. Attached is a picture of what I paid $3 for. As I mentioned, I ordered the saag paneer "hot". Not only was it extremely watery, it also tasted oily with no discernable spice. Trader Joe's has better Indian, I have palak paneer from Trader Joe's that I'll try to mix in with Aman's saag paneer to make it palatable. I hate to waste food, otherwise it would go straight into the compost. Go to Tiffin if you want to go to a restaurant and are in the mood for Indian food.

Ordered 3 dishes and all were watery. Chicken tika, chicken curry and, tadka daal had no flavor and the sauce looks like it was totally watered down. Garlic Naan was also bland. Vegetable samosas we're decent but all the sauces were watered down too. Not even worth the try.

Got takeout tonight and it was sadly not good. It was tough and woolly. The aloo gobi was horrible. The only good thing was the naan. We will never order from here again.

I have been coming to Aman’s for the past year after we ordered take out once and decided to stop in. The food is awesome!! It’s BYOB which is great. We love the vegetable samosas, cauliflower Manchurian, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and saag paneer. The servers are kind and the restaurant is very casual and relaxed. It is unpretentious good eating. I highly recommend ordering takeout or stopping in for a casual evening. I’ve only been here for dinners so far, but I know they have a buffet a couple days a week which I can’t wait to try! I totally forgot to take a decent picture of my food because I was too excited to dig in but this is my leftover naan in foil haha! It’s tucked away up in a shopping center but it’s worth the visit!

Went to Aman Indian Bistro in Phoenixville today in the after noon with my wife. When placing the order for appetizers/snacks like Aalu tikki and papari chat , I was told that I need to compulsorily place order for main courses or buffet also to get these appetizers and appetizers alone will not be served as a policy of the restaurant. I told them that I am here only for appetizers and my and my wife’s age doesn’t justify buffet. I requested for the Manager and Mr June the Manager repeated that same thing. He said that the cost of running the restaurant cannot be met by entertaining these kind of orders or customers and the restaurant does not break even with it. On my telling him that no such information is available on the website and had I known this policy of the restaurant thru website or thru other source, would not have come. Mr June replied that everything can not be put on the website and it is the discretion of the management to entertain or not to entertain such orders. He further gave very flimsy excuses of break even. Ultimately he agreed to serve us appetizers with a caution that next time if we plan to come then we shall place order for main courses/ buffets also in order to be acceptable at the restaurant. I am 72 and my wife 71 and can eat very little. I fail to understand and appreciate the kind of policy which this restaurant is adopting unilaterally. Writing this because any body planning visiting this place shall know this.
