We are so incredibly happy that we found Brooklyn Girl Bakery during our search for our dream wedding cake! Initially, I wasn’t sure if it would be possible to work with them because we had a small wedding with only 30 guests, but I reached out on a whim—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I connected with Peri, she was so lovely, reassuring, and wonderful to work with. She made it clear that no wedding is too small for a dream cake, and I couldn’t have been more excited.

In the summer, we set up a cake tasting with options from different bakeries, and honestly, Brooklyn Girl Bakery was the clear winner—it wasn’t even close! The flavors, textures, and overall quality were simply unmatched. We decided on a beautiful two-tiered cake with the most incredible flavors:
🎂 Banana cake with salted caramel frosting
🎂 Lemon cake with raspberry jam and cream cheese frosting

Just wow! Every bite was absolute perfection, and it was a huge hit with our guests. We were also so excited to take home our anniversary cake… but let’s be honest—it didn’t make it to our anniversary. More like our monthiversary! 😆

Peri, the owner of Brooklyn Girl Bakery, is a true professional! We had the amazing opportunity to work with Peri through our caterer, Williamson, who had a special package through our venue (Brandywine Manor House). From the very first meeting with Peri, she took my vision and made it a reality. I wanted a cake with specific details - white marbling, textured tiers and gold accents. Peri immediately sent me different pictures with options to choose from and she nailed it!! As for the cake flavors - these were just WOW! We were able to select 4 different flavors for each tier (banana cake with salted caramel cream, peanut butter cake with Nutella cream, strawberry cake with cream cheese, and raspberry cake with lemon). We also received a 1-year anniversary cake to take home with us and I asked Peri to surprise us with the flavor - Can’t wait to dig back into her amazing cake on our first anniversary. I highly recommend Brooklyn Girl Bakery for your wedding cake!

Delicious cakes and very easy to work with! Peri was responsive, accommodating, and helpful with feedback & samples. My wife and I just dove into the top tier of our wedding cake for our first anniversary, and it's every bit as good as it was a year ago!

We used Brooklyn Girl Bakery for a bridal shower cake. It was fantastic. The cake itself was visually stunning and perfect for the theme. Since we had two tiers, we were able to get two different flavors. The top was banana with traditional buttercream and the bottom was chocolate chip and chocolate filling. We did the smaller banana because we weren’t sure how it was go over with our group and guests were literally fighting to get the last piece. The banana cake will definitely be a birthday favorite in our family for years to come!

Peri made a delicious cake for our wedding, which everyone loved! She was great to work with throughout the entire process. The samples for the wedding cake were also helpful (and delicious). She's the best!

The cake looked amazing and it tasted so good! Even a few days after the wedding, we're still eating the leftovers! We got to pick multiple icing/cake flavors which helped so we didn't have to narrow it all down to one choice for each. Peri made the whole process so smooth from taste testing through the wedding day! We would definitely recommend!
