There wasn’t a soul inside when I arrived at 11am today. Not an employee… not a single customer. I should have just walked out then. Finally after waiting 5 or so minutes, 2 employees walk in the front door - from where, I have no idea. They must have seen me enter though?

I ordered a coffee. Paid… I asked where the half and half was, they didn’t have it. Only milk. I said ok, I don’t want milk, so can I please get a refund? Employee had no idea how to do a refund, nor issue a gift card. While she kept offering me items, I didn’t want anything else - just my $4 (for a small coffee!!!!!!🙄) back. That’s all. I was in a rush so I told her to keep it.

I got snarky attitude when leaving - her pretending to be aaaalllllll nice and “happy new year to you!”

You just literally stole $4 from me girl. Don’t play. How can someone not know how to do a refund… seriously. She clearly worked there long enough to not be at the counter - or in the restaurant at all!

Never again. I’m sure there’s a reason this place has gone from amazing reviews to awful reviews.

Such a cute little place! The employees are beyond nice and welcoming. The food was delicious and the espresso was the best I’ve ever had! Definitely will be back soon!

We got a hot latte and hot chocolate to go.

They both taste watered down. The latte ($6) is not much better than hot water (I dumped it). The hot chocolate ($4.75) tastes like a cheap packet mix.

For those prices, you can get premium drinks elsewhere.

Tremendous little café with authentic Brasílian food. The pastel was like being back in São Paulo. Everything we have tried so far has been amazing and the staff is very friendly.

The staff are always friendly, and it's a pleasure to sample the wide variety of sweet and savory items that aren't standard fare in American coffee shops.

Phenomenal cafe! I highly recommend all of the coffee drinks, the coxinha (chicken croquettes served with cheese), and the pão na chapa (pressed, buttered French bread toast).
