Great American Pub Phoenixville

The great American pub is a staple in Phoenixville! They have done such a great job building a wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff are as friendly as can be and well trained. I highly recommend if you are in Phoenixville to stop here and enjoy your time!

I was told I couldn't be seated outside because all their tables were dirty. Seems odd you'd turn away a customer rather than clean a table. We saw atleast 8 that were dirty and ready to turn. Ok, it Phoenixville. 20 more places next to you that do want our buisness.

Great American Pub in Phoenixville is a fantastic spot to stop in while out on the town! The atmosphere is welcoming with its charming exterior and cozy vibe. We walked up the the host stand outside. They told us kindly it was going to be a 20 minute wait, so we kindly asked to be sat inside instead. After around 15-20 minutes we were still not greeted by a waitress or waiter. We weren’t sure if it wasn’t communicated that we were there or not. Another waitress did happen to walk past our table twice to help another table and make eye contact with us but never explained if she was our waitress or where our waitress was. Very disappointed since it was only 4pm on a Sunday and they weren’t that busy.

We went to a get together held upstairs on the second floor- and it was such a great space! I would totally use it again for a baby shower, engagement or anniversary party, etc. Michelle and the other bartender (I didn’t catch her name) were both fantastic and so friendly. The food was tasty too. It was my first time there, and I’d definitely go back!

Very disappointing to be handed a brunch menu by the hostess when we arrived then have no waitress show up to then be told that we just missed brunch and couldn't order from the menu. The waitress apologized for the wait but it would have been more gracious for the kitchen to make a couple of extra brunch items to back up the apology.

This is the third time I enjoyed their Filet Mignon. Truly delicious, the meat is not chewy, prepared well and at an amazing price. I am on low carb so I asked for a side salad instead of the roasted potatoes and they accommodated me. Also very friendly service.

I'll start of by saying this is a beautiful venue. But the service and food were pretty terrible. We did go during Blobfest so I kept this in mind. The dining area we were sat in was fairly empty and the bar as well. No bartender was present so I assume only the other bar was. The table next to us had a server that was attentive. He was bussing, checking up on his tables, going back and forth. While ours apologized for the wait, she never really checked up on anything. I ordered whay aas basically a watered down Mojito with some blueberrys thrown in it as the event drink. That was a mistake as took 15 or 20 min. Ordered fried pickles and brisket fries. Both also took forever and were mediocre. After awhile we said bring the check and he boxes and I just said a tequila soda to make it easy. Keep in mind the servers were all talking in the hall through this. Probably wouldnt go back. A shame as the building is quite beautiful and armospheric.

We have eaten here both indoors and outdoors and also ordered take-out. We love the atmosphere, old building aesthetics and the outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, the service and food are below average. Our orders are often incorrect and the staff seems to be unconcerned when anything is wrong. On our last takeout experience, we ordered the Loaded Brisket Fries and the
Fiesta Chicken Salad.The brisket fries were tasty as always, but missing half of the toppings. The salad was horrible, tasting like un-washed lettuce and the chicken seemed like it was flavored by liquid smoke. To be honest, the Loaded Brisket Fries are about the only thing that we come back for, but are best when they have the toppings as described.

This is a cool spot for a drink, occasional live music, and a bite to eat.
The atmosphere is what brings us back, its a cool spot to hang out by the fountain with a drink or at the outdoor bar watch folks walk by or sports on the TV.
The food is just OK.
