I've been eating good bread for a long time and when my wife and I moved to Southeast PA from upstate NY, I had a lot of trouble finding bread I liked. After only finding bland and boring bread for a year and a half, I stumbled into the Kennett Square farmers market tried a few loaves from Green Lion. Long story short...I found bread that finally doesn't make me have a melt down and regret moving here. This stuff is high quality bread, like really high quality. Check out their website. I tried the galette (perfect crust!), loaf of bread (great for Dunkin’), and a fabulous croissant (perfection and nice and big)!!! Malvern Farmers Market. I recommend a bigger selection.

First time ever I got three different loafs here the other day. I had the baguette with a meal I made and I quickly skipped my meal and just ate the baguette. All of the bread was simply fantastic. WORD OF WARNING! It's near a maze to find this place. There are no signs and you have to wander around in this kind of mall until you find a coffee bistro and they seem to sell the bread. Not a single sign for Green Lion Breads did I find - really kind of strange for a business. Anyway, follow your nose as I did, the odor of delicious bread will lead you where you need to go.
