Let me tell you this was the worst door dash order experience I have ever had, if was not the driver's fault either! I ordered faluatas they had no cheese in them, they were so dry and nasty I threw it away. The restaurant also forgot the sour cream to dip them in and the side salad was so subpar. Next, my sister ordered 3 different types of pupusas all for them to have beans and cheese when she paid extra for meat. Additionally, there was no option online to choose a side order of rice. We called the restaurant and the manager instructed us to place the order on door dash as an additional horchata when in reality they would add rice to the order. Of course we had 3 horchatas, which were all watered down and terrible, and NO rice. All the salsa is the same as well no matter what you order. Thankfully we got our money bank after a bank dispute. Don't waste your time here. We even called to try to rectify the situation and there as such a bad language barrier with the manager we were unable to come to a resolve.

Delectable. Authentic.
So this place can be good. Its just not consistent. Sometimes really good and other times not so tasty. I guess it depends on who is cooking back there. Therefore it can be a hit or a miss.

We tried a Guatemalan kitchen restaurant and the food was truly delicious — full of authentic flavors and well-prepared. There was a small mix-up with my order, and I was brought something I didn’t ask for. When I mentioned it, they brought the missing part of the order on the side. Despite the hiccup, the staff was friendly and polite. Overall, a tasty experience with warm service, just a bit of room for improvement in accuracy.

The food was excellent but it took a long time and our order came in bits and pieces.

My company ordered catering for 110 employees and everyone was raving about the food today! It was delicious and we still have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. I highly recommend!

Disappointing Attempt at Guatemalan Cuisine
I was excited to try this restaurant, expecting authentic Guatemalan flavors, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. While the menu listed traditional dishes like pepián and tamales, what arrived at the table felt more like an Americanized version of Guatemalan food. The flavors were bland, the tortillas tasted store-bought, and the portions seemed catered more to presentation than authenticity.
Even the atole, which should have been rich and comforting, was watery and overly sweet. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff was friendly, but if you’re looking for a real taste of Guatemala, this isn’t the place. It’s a missed opportunity to showcase the depth of Guatemalan cuisine properly.

It's better than Taco Bell but the food we received tonight was really inedible. Fried chicken was gross, chicken tacos were flavorless except for the burnt onions on top, and the nachos came with steak we did not want or ask for ... The rice and tortillas were good, the nachos were mediocre and had gross refried beans on them. It gives me no pleasure to say that all three dishes were a waste of money.
Guatemala Kitchen is an absolute gem, and if you’re thinking about just ordering takeout don’t! Dining in is the way to go.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is top-notch. The staff makes you feel right at home, treating you like family from the moment you walk in. They’re attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve.
Speaking of food it’s incredible. Every dish is bursting with authentic flavors, and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into every bite. From rich, savory stews to perfectly grilled meats and handmade tortillas, everything tastes homemade and full of tradition.
Dining in lets you enjoy the full experience fresh, hot plates straight from the kitchen, vibrant aromas, and the chance to try dishes you might not think to order for takeout.
If you haven’t been yet, make plans to stop by and eat in. You’ll leave with a full stomach, a happy heart, and a craving to come back!

I have been here a few times. Food is great for a great price. Take out portions are notably smaller than if you eat in. I have never had burnt food. Everything well cooked and seasoned. They are slow but everything is freshly cooked so that is fine by me.
