Huge space with great food and superb service. Lots of veggie options. The last Sunday of the month is Punk Rock Flea Market. Fun! And loud music!

This place is great. Awesome nachos and a bunch of other really good food, too. The punk rock flea market on the last sunday of the month is one of the best types of these events- a lot of really cool stuff to check out- new stuff and vintage things. Highly recommended!

Had to make an account just for this.Wow, so my wife and myself stopped by here yesterday specifically to check out the punk rock market, but also to meet some friends for a few drinks and a bite to eat.Well, didn't get any drinks or food and told my friends not to even bother. We went else where.Arrived around 1:30 and almost immediately turned right around. The music the dj was playing was 1. just not good, and 2. WAY TOO LOUD. Like, I couldn't even hear my wife when we were 2 feet apart. How is anyone supposed to enjoy themselves and their company with music blaring that loud? And why that loud? And why was the music so.. bad? Like, I love myself some punk music but the dj seemed to only want to play the worst possible punk songs ever. And we did end up walking the market a bit as my wife wanted to check it out.Well, that was a bust. Why? Again, music WAY too loud and we couldn't hear the vendors and they couldn't hear us. Had to basically yell if you wanted to communicate at all. Why? Those poor vendors probably lost so many sales because of the music volume.I'd suggest lowering the volume by at least 25% if not more, especially if ppl actually want to sit and enjoy a meal and have any kind of conversation.Anyone reading this, don't go during the punk rock market if you want to keep your hearing or have any kind of good time.Yikes.

This establishment is not just a brewery; it’s a sanctuary for those who cherish the finer aspects of beer and dining. At the forefront of Root Down’s acclaim is The Bine, a masterpiece of brewing that has rightfully earned its accolades, including the prestigious Great American Beer Festival (GABF) award. The Bine’s success is a clear indicator of Root Down’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the craft beer scene. However, Root Down’s brilliance isn’t confined to its beer alone. So the food over the recent few weeks has massively declined. Got nachos tonight at happy hour and the cheese was grainy and cold..ordered pork and got chicken...a hand full of the bartenders are personable but overall been on a decline the pass few weeks with quality of the food. Definitely recommend getting a beer there. But not much else..

Good music unfortunately the food and service suck. Skinny guy with an orange shirt and hat is a horrible server. Acts inconvenienced by any request. Won’t be back

The wings were great and the house made ranch was delicious too.

Used to love coming to root down! It was always such a good environment and staff was knowledgeable and nice. Not so much anymore. The staff is rude. They get mad at you for asking for glasses over plastic and just overall seem mad and unhappy. Was always our go to spot and I think today may have been the last straw. Such a shame. The beer is amazing and food is also good. The service is just very unwelcoming and we feel like a burden anytime we order something from the bar. Hopefully things change since the quality of the beer is amazing.

Went to lunch here with my sister who is vegan. It’s often hard to find a place with many options for her. Root Down had many vegan options on the menu, and she really enjoyed her meal (as did I). Service was good as well.

Really great Reuben sandwich, tasty and not drowned in cheese and sauce! Had a Tripel too and loved it. A very good late lunch/ early dinner. AND attentive friendly staff

We used to really love this place, but unfortunately we will not be back. It was not busy, yet the four servers acted if we were inconveniencing them and three other tables received their food before us (1 sandwich and 1 Mac and cheese took over 45 minutes to arrive). Beer is still good, unfortunately the quality of food has also declined. Bummer.
