This place has great coffee beverages and baked goods. There are some really cool murals inside and there seems to be events happening frequently. Shout out to the man who made me a large coffee even though I ordered a small and had to wait a while.

To say that I'm really disappointed would be a real understatement. But the last few times eating here have been terrible experiences. The atmosphere is very nice, the service is pretty good. But the food quality and coffee has been consistently bad.Today I ordered a breakfast Flatbread and a large mocha latte. The mocha latte was supposed to be a large, it's like $6.It was 2/3 full and the coffee quality was tasteless but slightly bitter. The mocha flavor was almost non existent. The Breakfast Flatbread was supposed to have eggs fontina cheese and scallions. It was two undercooked runny eggs on top of pretty stale piece of Flatbread, the cheese and scallions were hard to locate.I added sirracha sauce just to give it some flavor. Also almost non existent. It was $12.50The bill came to 20 dollars, tip not included.Look at the pics I'm attaching and you tell me that somehow this in any way resembles 20 bucks worth of food??!

Came here to see the Amazing Anna Spackman-she was amazing! The food and beverages were amazing as well. I had a chickpea wrap with a kombucha and one of their wonderful lemon blueberry tarts. The owners are fantastic and I absolutely love how personal-able they are! Thank you for having this space!Parking: If you don’t mind a walk down by the river has space

I love steel city! great place to study or meet up for coffee. Highly recommended chai tea, homemade pop tart, and arugula/honey flatbread. The pop tart is out of this world ?

You know what's good about Steel City Coffeehouse? Everything. The staff and ownership, the food and drinks, the whole vibe. The warmth and diversity in that space is unparalleled, and the opportunities the owners provide to the community are selfless in so many ways. The fundraisers, charity events, and local live performers that can stretch out their voices and have a place to be heard are met with open hearts and big smiles. I love this place. I've been to a lot of coffee shops and breweries - Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, Florida, Texas, Maine, Australia, England, Ireland, Honduras, Puerto Rico - I've seen a lot of people playing guitar, singing, harmonizing, rapping, married couples performing, folks collaborating with people they've just met, playing piano, reading poetry, and people here are genuinely supportive of the performer, regardless of genre, age, gender, color, or artistic style. You'd be hard pressed to find a place like this anywhere in the world, and we're fortunate enough to have such a special place for artists of all kinds, right here in our little town. Thank you Steel City. Also, I had the black bean burrito and a mocha the other day, and they were both fantastic.

Really cool place with lots of vegan and vegetarian food options. I got the peppermint bark chia and it was delicious and sweet and my partner and I both tried their baked goods. Wonderful service and unique and cool atmosphere that is everything you could want in a cafe.

We used to love Steel City, but the past few times we've been there the espresso in our lattes seems non-existent or watered-down. It's been too inconsistent lately to keep spending $7 for a latte, especially since we make it our weekend treat. Not sure what's been going on, but I hope it gets fixed and I can start going back!

Honest Review, went there for breakfast and to get a coffee.Had a bagel with eggs, bacon, cheese, pretty good. But my reason for two stars on food was for the coffee, unfortunately I couldn’t taste the coffee until after a couple more sips.I got the white mocha, I’d expect to taste some chocolate but to my surprise, I tasted none. The coffee flavor didn’t kick in until after a couple sips like I’ve mentioned. You’re probably wondering what was I tasting in the first couple sips then, and its hard to describe it because Im sure it was milk but at the same time I wasn’t sure, but obviously it has milk so it must’ve been.It wasn’t flavorful at the end. At least the breakfast bagel saved my morning by a clutch.Someone else who was with me also had a bagel like mine but they didn’t like it due to the clumps of pepper they found in the eggs in every bite, i think they were just unlucky because mine had good portioned seasoning on my eggs.Service was great, I think the staff were really nice.Atmosphere was alright, not coffee vibes but surely a decent atmosphere, people will occasionally pipe into your convo and become your new best friend (jokingly). But aside from that everyone’s friendly with everyone.Overall I give this place a 5/10

I had a couple problems with this restaurant. The coffee tasted like cough syrup for some reason, and the eggs in my bagel had so many clumps of pepper. Overall, the service was great but the food was a miss.

Food was okay, coffee however was not good at all; my wife has a latte, I had a capuchino, they both taste the same with some sourness in it. Smoke from kitchen fill the entire place, which makes the whole experience very
