The Perky is a great spot for socializing with friends and is known for its excellent food and fun, unfiltered atmosphere. The bar staff is a highlight, with drinks always kept full, and the restaurant is open late, serving food and drinks after hockey games. Guests can enjoy trivia night on Thursdays, adding to the lively experience. The decor is reminiscent of a dive bar, but the food is very good. The Brisket Cheesesteak melts in your mouth, and the Quesadilla was fresh as hell. The short bread was soft and flaky, basically cake without icing. The hands down best dive bar in existence, a true locals only hidden gem! The dry rub on the ribs was phenomenal with a nice kick of pepper and the smoky flavor permeated the meat. The brisket was smoky, tender and flavorful. The pulled pork was nicely seasoned and smoky. The Mac-n-cheese was shells with great flavor and generous portion size, and the fries were from fresh potatoes and full of flavor. Their house BBQ sauce is tangy and tasty. Service was prompt and courteous.
