Had dinner at The Perky, a barbecue pub spot, while we were in town. I ordered the brisket and a quarter pound of ribs, but unfortunately, both were pretty dry and didn’t have much flavor. The service itself was fine — the bartender was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The place has plenty of TVs, so it’s a solid spot if you’re there to catch a game, but the food didn’t quite live up to expectations.
The Brisket Cheesesteak melts in your mouth. The Quesadilla was fresh as hell..soo good. The short bread was soft and flaky.. it's basicly cake without icing.. The waitress Letisha was on point.
The hands down best dive bar in existence! A true locals only hidden gem! Excellent food, great atmosphere, the best damned bartenders and servers you could ask for! A definite destination spot if you are in the area!
