The inside looked nice. Had a live singer. Very country bar atmosphere but in a good way. Just can't get with the food all that. Especially at the prices. I eat a lot of BBQ. It wasn't bad. But family out to dinner spending 80+ I would like other BBQ more. Nothing wowed me.
We love Uncle B's! We had them cater my son's birthday party this past weekend, and it was incredible. This was our second time having them cater a party. Everything was perfect, the meats were so juicy (brisket, pork, chicken), and the sides were amazing (mac, green beans, slaw). We got an order of jackfruit for our vegan/vegetarian friends and they were raving about it. Uncle B's is my go-to for catering around here, and we frequently eat there for lunch/dinner too. You won't be disappointed either way, but I do highly recommend their catering specifically! Thanks, Brian and Beth, for another amazing catering order!!
Solid BBQ food, with some nice classic side choices not often found in the northeast. They have vegan BBQ options using jackfruit and a fair number of gluten free options, including a dedicated fryer for gluten free foods. The service we received excellent and the portions were good size. They have indoor and outdoor seating, in addition to a beer garden.
While the service was good the food was mediocre. We got the St. Louis ribs, collards, and beans. Everything was flavorless. Hard to believe, but while the texture and tenderness was fine, there was just no flavor. The beans were just heated beans- no real seasoning, same for the collards.
Great service, AMAZING food
Phantom Trap and Rebecca Goodrich Cooper was excellent!!! … very entertaining and engaging with the audience as else enjoyed the excellent food.
Great food. Great staff. Fun environment. Always friendly faces.
Overall, it was decent. Service was pretty slow, took about 35 minutes for brisket fries and a grilled cheese while people who arrived after we did got their food before us. The food arrived warm but not hot, fries seemed a bit stale. The portion sizes are small, the grilled cheese had only a few pieces of pulled pork and same with the fries. The food comes with a small amount of sauce so order extra in advance because you’ll probably need it.
Tuesday, June 28th 2022First time visiting. Wow! I loved the beer garden. The beer trailer, lights, overhead canopies, corn hole and overall ambiance was really cool & laid back. I would prefer more comfortable seating as someone with fibromyalgia but not surprised to find picnic tables outside. It seemed they had a large selection of drafts, cocktails, and other drinks. The guy by the outside beer trailer seemed to be in an off mood.I was highly impressed with their gluten free selection & other random foods offered. It seemed hush puppies & fried pickles NOT gf but 4+ sauces, Mac & cheese, jack fruit, rolls, wings, brisket tips etc were all gluten free. The dude who took our order was extremely helpful & knowledgable with several recommendations. The white sauce (alabama) was rather good! Not spicy but different.Honestly, most of the food was mediocre & took a long time to come out. I think as a BBQ place, I expected the jackfruit to be more similar to pulled pork but was still pieces of fruit & not seasoned well. But without asking, they offered us complimentary wings, since the wait was *so* long.I would try this place again! Be fair, it was a nifty hip place to visit. Seems there's live music certain nights but unsure where to find the schedule.
Nope, give this place a skip. Where do I start? It's Wednesday night and they are not busy, but we still waited 37 minutes for our food. Nothing complicated: Burnt ends, fries and Mac 'n cheese. The Mac 'n cheese was wrong: pulled pork instead of brisket. The burnt ends were bland (look at the photo), the fries looked old and I had to ask twice for the sauce. The soda machine had no ice. Yeah, that about covers it. Visit at your own risk. (No, they were not under staffed, they had lost of servers and cooks.)

Nice, clean and great customer service. Food presentation was also good. Unfortunately the food didn't hit. It was mediocre basic BBQ
Man, I really loved this place back when it was the owner and like one other person in there preparing the food. It's just so obvious whoever is preparing the food now just doesn't care like they did. Half the time the foods cold, half the time it's barely seasoned. I was really excited when they got the bigger location, I still love the brisket cheese fries but for 15$ and half the time they are cold idk anymore.
After waiting for 50 minutes for a grilled cheese and a fried shrimp sandwich, it was clear that the order had been sitting for a long time. Cold, dry food with absolutely no flavor and fries that tasted like they were microwaved from the day prior. Won’t be back.
Best BBQ around! Friendly and welcoming employees. Service is top notch too!
I was really excited for this BBQ place, we order for pick up tonight and the food was cold. Our fries tasted like they had been sitting out for hours the meat was tough and the hush puppies were just sad. Definitely won't be going back. A big disappointment especially since they weren't even busy.
