I stopped into Vecchia Nuovo in Phoenixville tonight by myself and had an awesome experience. I was seated right away, and the service was great. I ordered the Boardwalk pie and a side of broccoli rabe with a glass of wine. The pizza was fantastic — perfectly crispy on the bottom, great crust, and the toppings were spot-on. The broccoli rabe was exactly how I like it — a little olive oil, a touch of spice, full of flavor. Everything hit the mark.
When it's good, it's great.
My first experience with takeout pizza here was somewhat disappointing. The crust was soggy and the pizza tasted like one big cheese delivery system. I ended up trying out every other pizza place in town before giving Vecchia a second try.

Really amazing Italian food. I tried the boardwalk pie and the funghi pizza which were both amazing. I love the fluffy crust and neopolitan pizza. The portions were plenty and full of flavor. The bread with the whipped ricotta was also really good and the waiter was great. I definitely want to try one of the pasta dishes next time.
