Very Niceđ¨Thank youâŁď¸
This was the only choice as the concert let out and we arrived at 11:30, restaurant was slated to close at midnight and the front desk person told us we were okay to order and take it to go, as the orders would stop at 11:45. Perhaps someone should alert the very unpleasant woman working the bar who sighed, tapped her nails, and was blatantly rude as we rushed and apologized for being there late. Their menu online doesnât match the actual one so it took a minute to revise our planned order but again, we were apologetic and overly nice (in hindsight, I wish Iâd returned her attitude and also hadnât left a tip but thatâs just not how I was raised). Perhaps all of this could have been forgiven had the food been good. It wasnât. Chicken tenders were cold inside while a bit burnt on the outside, tater tots were raw. The pretzels and queso were good, but for a tab over $40 for two chicken fingers/tots and one pretzel app, I advise that you just skip eating if you arrive back to the hotel after 11. Extremely disappointing - food and service.

Mediocre service and overpriced food. The salad pictured cost $15. It was impossible to get a drink - they were too busy playing on their phone. If you're staying at the Drury it's better to get takeout from another spot. The pretzel was decent.

I have visited this business several times over the course of my stay. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the service, food, and atmosphere.I only had one instance where I did not get instant service, and sadly I was in a rush. It was just before their happy hour 5:30 pm, and only one set of customers was there, other than myself. I waited 8 minutes and no service staff were to be seen. I had to leave to catch a bus. Now, on to the positive visits: I have visited in the later hours, around 11:30 pm. They serve until just before 12 am most nights. It's the end of the shift for everyone there, yet you would think you were their first customer. They are cordial, happy to answer questions, and quickly serve you what you ordered. I have ordered buffalo chicken salads a couple times, which are just the right size for a late night supper. (Pictures of the two different salads in post). I also ordered the warm berry galette once. It was half eaten before I realized I had forgotten to take a picture- it was that delectable! If you are staying at the Drury (or nearby), I suggest this grill and bar as a great place to snag some food and a couple drinks.Update: the galette was calling me. I just went and got one. It's just as stunning as the first one from the other night!
It was fun to get a quick bite to eat and hang out on the couches with friends and not have to leave the hotel later in the evening. Drink prices were pretty high.
Google says supposed to be open till 11, sign in lobby says 10. but closed at 9 and very rude bartender
Good selection for a hotel bar
The place is excellent, the bartenders were really nice. Expensive.
The bar is on the 2nd floor of the Drury Hotel. The hotel is in a former Federal Reserve Bank building, and they kept some of the features of a highly-secure bank, including intimidating metal gates and external bars on the windows. So there's some appeal to the decor. The liquor selection is passable -- usually 3-4 selections to choose from in each major category. They have mixers and fresh fruit to make all of the popular cocktails. With beer, they have 3 on tap and a variety of popular domestics and imports. They also have some locally-brewed choices. Wine options are limited. The food, however, is unfit for consumption. It's prepped to be easy for a single employee to be able to run the kitchen and the bar at the same time. However, that means all food items need to be ready-to-assemble in a matter of minutes without a lot of effort or supervision. Essentially, all cooked items go from cold storage into a high-speed rapid-cook oven set on a timer. While it is possible to serve good food using that method of cooking, the quality of the food at this place is worse than fast food. The burger has an appearance of moist dog food, with a blandness that cannot be overstated. The spinach dip appetizer is pre-made, which results in the spinach weeping out all of its moisture, making the whole thing a watery mess. The cheese dip is no better. The turkey melt has just the worst processed sliced meat -- I'm talking "Land O' Frost" bad quality -- that I've ever tasted. The equally bad government cheese on it won't even melt without the oil separating out of it. The quality of the food really is a shame, too, because guests of the hotel are likely in town for business or entertainment. It's entirely possible to have excellent bar food, but it's a pity that 4th District chooses not to. If you're staying at the hotel, you get a *free* light dinner included with your stay (think salad or tacos or chili or chicken fingers or pasta with a simple sauce). That dinner IS NOT made by 4th District and is served on the 1st floor, just off the hotel's lobby. The *free* meal you can get courtesy of the hotel is better than the food at 4th District. That meal also comes with three (3) *free* short-poured cocktails using rail liquor. You cannot use the *free* drink passes at 4th District.
Great great hotel everything is clean and the breakfast is delicious
