Highly recommend! Food is amazing and thoughtfully prepared. Service is wonderful!! We have been to Albero Verde at least 6 times in the last three months! We are very picky about where we dine and Albero Verde exceeds expectations every time! Best BYOB policy too! Bonus: It’s cool to be able to watch the kitchen in action!

Stumbled upon Albero Verde, when looking for a fine dining restaurant for our Anniversary that wasn't $50-100/ plate and was more accessible than downtown Pittsburgh....Albero Verde, did NOT disappoint. The owner and Chef, Anthony Pupo, introduced himself while delivering a small, unique tasting of a wonton with a twist. This small but mighty restaurant provided top notch service, an intimate dining experience, good music, the option of BYOB, and the FOOD was too die for. The wonderful waitress suggested that we split the Wedge salad, and I appreciated the suggestion as 1 was plenty for 2 people...but when she brought it out, they had plated it on 2 seperate plates for us, taking away the hassle of dividing the dish ourselves at the table. We then had the Octopus and Beans and Greens appetizers.... both delicious. For our main course, we had the Fran and Fudge (named after the Chef's grandparents) a HEALTHY sized bone in porkchop with brie and goat cheese pierogi and the Scallop and Langoustine Spaghetti... both excellent! For dessert we had the Pomegranate Semifreddo, a refreshing frozen yogurt and a mini chocolate cannoli. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Chef, for a lovely and tasty evening.

Just visited for lunch and it was delicious! There is a uniqueness to many of the items but familar and super satisfying! We had the chicken sandwich, shrimp Po boy, crabby Mac and a cookie. Everything really was spectacular. Go sooner than later to this spot!

Mid-Atlantic Restaurant located on Greentree Road. Serving dinner Wednesday through Saturday. This restaurant is BYOB. Chef/Family-owned restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. They truly take pride in each dish, and it shows. The menu is packed with tasty options. An Italian/Mid-Atlantic food vibe, giving you the ability to try some classics but explore new flavors. Small, intimate setting, creating a cozy atmosphere for dinner. Open kitchen concept-gives you that at-home feel. Grab your favorite bottle of wine and enjoy a truly incredible meal. Reservations are recommended but not required. Takeout is available, order via phone or easily, online. In addition to their amazing restaurant, they offer catering! Tons of options available for your next group function!

Chef Anthony catered our wedding and we got countless compliments on the food. Even our pickiest guests said they loved everything they ate. Anthony was also able to provide some delicious vegan options. My only regret was not having time to eat more of the food during the reception. From the grilled cheese with jam hors D’oeuvre’s to the cold beet salad to the beef wagyu, everything was perfect.

Delicious, creative menu that is a little different and very approachable. We enjoyed all of the courses and each was delicious. My favorite was the mushroom salad. We will be back.
